Connect the base station  
1. Place the base station in a central  
location near the telephone line socket  
and electricity socket.  
2. Connect the output plug of the mains  
adapter to the bottom of the base  
station.  
3. Connect the mains adapter to a  
standard wall outlet.  
4. Connect the telephone line cord to the phone socket at the bottom of the base  
station and the wall phone socket.

Charge handset for 24 hours

1. Place the 2 rechargeable batteries (included) into the battery compartment.  
2. Slide the battery door firmly into place.

Make a call  
Dial the number (maximum 24 digits) and press

Adjust the earpiece or speaker’s volume  
During a call, press or to adjust the volume. Press OK to confirm. The

earpiece or speakerís volume is adjusted and the phone goes back to the call screen.  
Set your handset’s ring melody

2. Select PERSONAL SET > HANDSET TONES > RING TONES. Press OK.  
3. Scroll to the desired melody. Press OK. The setting is saved.  
Save a phonebook record

2. Select PHONEBOOK > NEW ENTRY. Press OK.  
3. Enter the name. Press OK.  
4. Enter the number. Press OK to confirm. Your new record is saved.

Press on the base station to turn on the answering machine (the LED is turned on).  
The outgoing message is played.  
Press on the base station to play phone messages (the first recorded message  
will be played first).

Signal icon flashing  
The handset may be out of range. Move closer to the  
base station.  
If the handset displays UNREGISTERED, register the  
handset again.  
Handset on the  
charger does not  
charge  
Check that the batteries are inserted correctly.  
Make sure the handset is placed properly on the charger.  
Batteries may be defective. Purchase new ones from  
your dealer.  
No display  
Check that the batteries are charged.  
Check the power and phone connections.  
Handset does not ring  
Check that the handset ringer is turned on.  
Caller number is not  
displayed  
Service is not activated. Check your subscription with  
your network provider.  
Caller does not hear  
me clearly  
Move closer to the base station.  
Move the base station at least one meter away from  
any electronic appliances.
