Your Power Strip is designed to provide convenient multiple AC outlets.
SS Power Strips models (e.g. the SS7415-15) provide 450 joules of surge suppression to connected equipment.
Select models with surge suppression feature a green LED that lights when surge suppression components are
operating. All other Power Strips DO NOT provide connected equipment with surge or line noise protection.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Plug your Power Strip into a standard, grounded electrical outlet. DO NOT plug your Power Strip into 2-wire
extension cords or adapters. DO NOT drill into or open any part of the housing. There are no user-serviceable
parts inside.
EQUIPMENT CONNECTION
Plug your equipment into the Power Strip’s AC receptacles. DO NOT plug in equipment that draws more total
amps than your Power Strip's amperage rating (see label on Power Strip for amperage rating), or you will trip
the circuit breaker. If the circuit breaker trips, remove overload and depress breaker to reset. Leave enough clearance
at the end of the Power Strip to allow the circuit breaker to operate normally.
Note: Select models with a power switch feature a protective switch cover. To access the switch, simply flip open the attached cover.
WALL MOUNTING
All standard Power Strip models feature clips for horizontal or vertical mounting on a variety of surfaces. The
user must supply other mounting hardware (screws, etc.) and determine their suitability for use with the chosen
mounting surface.
Mark a straight horizontal or vertical line where you want to

mount the Power Strip. At each end of the line, mark where
the edges of the Power Strip will be located. Place a mounting
clip on the mounting surface 1” in from these edges and mark
where the screws must be driven into the wall. For strips
longer than 48" (120 cm), also mark a screw hole for a third
mounting clip midway between the other two.
Keyhole Mounting: Drive #8 screws directly into the mount-
ing surface. Snap the mounting clips onto the Power Strip
(2a), then hang the Power Strip on the screws by the keyhole
slots on its mounting clips (2b).

Clip Mounting: Drive #10 screws through washers, through
the centers of the mounting clips and into the mounting
surface (3a). Place the Power Strip inside one edge of the
mounting clips, then snap the Power Strip into place (3b).

Su barra de contactos está diseñada para proporcionarle múltiples y funcionales contactos de corriente alterna.
Los modelos SS de barras de contacto (por ejemplo, el SS7415-15) proporcionan 450 joules de supresión de

CONEXIÓN ELÉCTRICA

CONEXIÓN DEL EQUIPO
Enchufe su equipo dentro de los contactos de corriente alterna de la barra. NO enchufe equipo que requiera un
amperaje total mayor al valor nominal de la barra de contactos (véase la etiqueta de la barra de contactos para
conocer su amperaje nominal), de lo contrario, se accionará el interruptor automático. Si se acciona el interrup-
tor automático, retire la sobrecarga y oprima el interruptor para reiniciar la operación. Deje espacio suficiente a
cada extremo de la barra de contactos para permitir que el "breaker" opere normalmente.
Nota: Algunos modelos con interruptor de energía CA cuentan con una cubierta protectora del interruptor. Para tener acceso al
interruptor, simplemente retire la cubierta.
MONTAJE SOBRE LA PARED
Todos los modelos de barra de contactos estándar tienen ganchos para su montaje horizontal o vertical sobre una
gran variedad de superficies. El usuario debe suministrar el resto del equipo de montaje (tornillos, etc.) y deter-
minar si son apropiados para su uso en la superficie de montaje seleccionada.
Marque una línea recta, horizontal o vertical, en el lugar

donde desea montar la barra de contactos. En cada uno de los
extremos de la línea, marque los bordes en donde se
localizará la barra de contactos. Coloque un gancho de mon-
taje sobre la superficie de montaje, a una distancia de 2,54
cm (1") desde cada borde y marque la posición en la cual se
colocarán los tornillos sobre la pared. Para barras de contac-
tos de más de 120 cm (48"), también marque el barrenado de
un tercer orificio para otro gancho de montaje colocado entre
medias de los otros dos.
Montaje sobre los orificios marcados: Introduzca tornillos
del nº 8 directamente dentro de la superficie de montaje.
Coloque los ganchos de montaje sobre la barra de contactos
(2a) y después cuelgue la barra de contactos sobre los tornil-
los, guiándose por las ranuras marcadas sobre los ganchos de
montaje (2b).

Montaje de los ganchos: Introduzca tornillos del nº 10 a
través de las arandelas y del centro de los ganchos en la
superficie de montaje (3a). Coloque la barra de contactos
dentro del borde de los ganchos de montaje, y después pre-
sione ligeramente la barra de contactos hasta que quede en su
sitio (3b).
