Tripp Lite Network-Grade
Power Distribution Units (PDUs)
Tripp Lite Network-Grade PDUs are highly reliable multiple-outlet strips that distribute power from a UPS system, generator or utility wall outlet to
multiple devices. Tripp Lite offers three separate types of rackmount PDUs (see selector guide, below) with features and benefits to match every
application—networking, server, telecom and more.

Multiple Outlets
Increase the number of devices that
can be powered by a UPS system,
generator or utility source.
High-Current Plug and Increase connection flexibility by
Low-Current Outlets*
converting a single high-amperage outlet
into multiple low-amperage outlets.
Long Input Power Cord Increases installation flexibility by allowing
devices to be located far from an input
power source.
Digital Load Meter
Avoid overloads and safely add loads
as total equipment power consumption
is displayed.
Remote Control of
Individual Outlets
(via SNMP, Web or
Telnet)
Reduces frequency of costly service calls
by rebooting locked devices. Extends
runtime of critical devices by turning off
nonessential loads during blackouts.

Versatile Mounting Options
Tripp Lite Basic PDUs reliably distribute AC power from a UPS system, generator or utility wall outlet to multiple devices. Basic PDUs offer high-
quality plug/outlet connections and a switch-free design to prevent the PDU from being accidentally disconnected or shut down. Versatile all-metal
cabinets with detachable mounting hardware accommodate a variety of mounting options: wallmount, under-counter and 19-inch rackmount
mounting in 1U and/or zero-U formats*. Basic PDUs are available in a variety of capacities from 15A to 30A. The PDUNV model features multiple
detachable plugs to connect the PDU to a variety of outlets. The PDU40TDUAL model features two separate power circuits (with corresponding
color-coded power cord, circuit breaker and outlets), making it ideal for servers with redundant power supplies and other equipment in loaded racks.

Long Input Power Cord
All-Metal Cabinet with
Versatile Mounting Options
Tripp Lite Metered PDUs reliably distribute AC power from a UPS system, generator or utility wall outlet to multiple devices. Each model features
a digital load meter that helps you maximize the amount of devices that can be safely added to the PDU (without overloading it) by displaying the
total power consumption of connected equipment. Metered PDUs offer high-quality plug/outlet connections and a switch-free or switch-protected
design to prevent the PDU from being accidentally disconnected or shut down. Versatile all-metal cabinets with detachable mounting hardware
accommodate a variety of mounting options:* wallmount, under-counter and 19-inch rackmount mounting in 1U and/or zero-U formats. Metered
PDUs are available in 15A, 20A, 30A and 40A capacities. The PDUMV40 model features two separate 20-amp power circuits (with corresponding
color-coded power cord, circuit breaker, load meter and outlets), making it ideal for servers with redundant power supplies and other equipment in
loaded racks. The PDUMV30 model includes high-current 120V input with two banks of outlets and dual meters. The PDUMV20HV model
includes 208/230V input with C13 and C19 outlets. The PDUMV30HV model includes 208V input with two banks of C13 and C19 outlets and dual
meters. The PDUMV30, PDUMV20HV and PDUMV30HV models also include plug retention brackets that hold connected equipment cables in
place. The PDUMH15AT and PDUMH20AT models include redundant inputs with Automatic Transfer Switching (see page 8 for more information)
and are user-upgradeable to switched PDUs (requires SNMPWEBCARD, sold separately).

Multiple Outlets
Tripp Lite Switched PDUs reliably distribute AC power from a UPS system, generator or utility wall outlet to multiple devices. A built-in network
interface allows users to remotely control individual outlets (and connected devices) via SNMP, Web or Telnet. This feature reduces the frequency of
costly service calls by enabling remote reboot of locked devices. It can also be used to extend the runtime of critical devices by allowing users to
turn off nonessential devices during a blackout. Each model features one or more digital load meters that help you maximize the amount of devices
that can be safely added to the PDU (without overloading it) by displaying the total power consumption of connected equipment. High-quality

PDUs with Automatic Transfer Switching (ATS)
Tripp Lite PDUs with Automatic Transfer Switching (ATS) reliably distribute AC power from a UPS system, generator or utility source to multiple
devices. Each model includes dual AC input plugs and an internal automatic transfer switch between available power sources. These features
safeguard the uptime of connected devices by automatically providing a backup source of AC power if one source fails or is taken off-line for
maintenance. The two input cords can be connected to two utility sources, two generator sources, two UPS systems or any combination of these
sources.

PDUs with Dual Independent Power Circuits
Dual Independent Power Circuit PDUs provide an efficient and manageable power distribution solution for multiple servers with redundant power
supplies, combining the advantages of two separate high-current PDUs without the extra expense, increased space requirements and added
management complexity. Input plugs, input power cords, breakers and outlets are color-coded to match each independent circuit, allowing simplified
cable management for multi-server configurations.
