SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

•

Only use the charger plug supplied. Do not use other chargers, as this may damage the battery cells.

Only insert rechargeable batteries of the same type. Never use ordinary, non-rechargeable batteries. Insert

rechargeable batteries so they connect to the right poles (indicated in the battery compartment of the handset).

Do not touch the charger and plug contacts with sharp or metal objects.

The operation of some medical devices may be affected.

The handset may cause an unpleasant buzzing sound in hearing aids.

Do not place the basic unit in a damp room or at a distance of less than 1.5 m away from a water source. Keep

water away from the handset.

•

Do not use the telephone in environments where there is a risk of explosions.

Dispose of the batteries and maintain the telephone in an environment-friendly manner.

As this telephone cannot be used in case of a power cut, you should use a mains-

independent telephone for emergency calls, e.g. a mobile phone.

•

This telephone uses rechargable batteries. You have to dispose of the batteries

in an environment friendly manner according to your specific country regulations.

Clean the telephone with a slightly damp cloth or with an anti-static cloth. Never use cleaning agents or abrasive

solvents.

3. INSTALLATION

3.1 BASESTATION

•

Plug one end of the phone cable into the phone unit and the other end into the telephone line wall socket.

Connect the small plug of the AC adaptor to the phone and the other end of the adapter cable to the electric socket.

3.2 HANDSET CHARGER UNITS

•

Connect the AC adaptor to the electric socket

3.3 HANDSET

•

Insert 2 rechargeable batteries (AAA) inside the battery compartment of the handset..

Put the handset on the base unit. The red Charge LED

will lit as long as the handset is on the base.

Charge the handset for a period of 24 hours before using the handset for the first time. To extend the battery life time,

discharge the batteries completely from time to time. As soon as the handset emits a warning tone or when the battery

icon

is empty, you have to put it back on the base unit for charging.

4. BATTERY LOW INDICATION

When the battery is empty, the handset no longer carries out operations. When a battery is completely empty and you

have put the handset on the base unit for a short period of time, the Battery symbol will appear to be fully charged but

this is actually not the case. The battery capacity will decrease rapidly. We advise you to put the handset on the base

unit for 12 hrs so that it can be recharged completely.

When you are in the middle of a conversation and the battery is almost empty, the handset will emit a warning signal.

5. HANDSET OPERATION

5.1 OUTGOING CALLS

5.1.1 Making a phone call

•

Press the Line button . You will hear the dial tone.

Enter the desired telephone number.

Press the Line button

when you want to terminate the call.

5.1.2 Call setup with dial preparation

•

Enter the desired telephone number. An incorrect number can be corrected by means of the Mute

you haven’t pressed a button for 10 seconds, the number you’ve already entered will disappear and the handset

returns to standby mode.

5.1.3 Redialling the last number dialled

The number shown on the display is dialled automatically.

After finishing your call, press the Line key to hang up.

5.2 INCOMING CALLS

•

When a call comes in, the handset will start to ring. The

5.3 ACTIVATE/DEACTIVATE HANDS FREE FUNCTION

This function allows you to communicate without having to pick up the handset. When you are on the phone, press the

5.4 PROGRAMMING MEMORY NUMBERS

You can program 10 indirect numbers (of max. 25 digits) in the phone’s memory.

Press and hold the Memory button

Enter the telephone number you whish to store.

Press the Memory button again to confirm.

Enter the memory location (0-9) where you want to store the number.

You will hear a confirmation tone and the -icon will disappear.

If you wish to insert a pause, press the Redial/Pause button

5.5 CALLING A MEMORY NUMBER

•

Press the Memory button

Press the Line button . The memory number will be dialled automatically.

Press the Line button when you want to terminate the call.

5.6 MUTE FUNCTION

It is possible to deactivate the microphone during a conversation. Now you can speak openly without being heard by

your correspondent.

5.7 SETTING THE VOLUME

During a conversation you can set the volume by pressing the Volume button

in Hi, Medium and Low.

Note: The hands free receiver volume is also adjustable as above described!

5.8 PAGING

When you press the Paging button

on the base unit, the handset emits a ringing signal for 20 seconds. This signal

helps you find a lost handset. Press any key to stop the ringing on a handset.

5.9 OUT OF RANGE WARNING

When the handset is out of the working range of the base unit during a conversation, the unit will emit a warning signal

to warn the user that he has to move closer towards the base unit.

5.10 FLASH BUTTON (R)

When you press the R button, also called flash or recall, the unit generates a line interruption (of 100 ms or 250 ms). It

gives you the possibility to use the special services of your telephone provider and/or to transfer calls when you have

a telephone exchange.

5.10.1 Setting the Flash time

Press and hold the redial button

‘S’ for 100ms

for 3 sec.

or ‘L’ for 250ms

The ﬂash time setting will disappear after 2 sec. from the display

Caution:The base ﬂash time is different from the handset ﬂash time.To set the base ﬂash time, please

refer to § 9.5.

5.11 SETTING THE RING VOLUME AND MELODY

5.11.1 Handset melody

•

Press and hold the melody button

Select the desired melody (1-9) by means of the scroll keys

5.11.2 Handset ring volume

5.12 KEY LOCK

When the keypad is locked, pressing any key will have no effect during standby (except holding the

key).

When there is an incoming call, you can still answer the call by pressing the Line button . During the call, the keypad

functions as normal. When the call is ended, the keypad will be locked again

5.13 SETTING THE DIALLING MODE

There are two types of dialling mode:

DTMF/Tone dialling (the most common) (default)

Pulse dialling (for older installations)

To change the mode of dialling:

Press and hold the ﬂash R button to toggle between dialling modes:

‘P’ will appear when set to pulse or ‘T’ when set to tone (DTMF) dialling

After 5 sec. the unit returns to standby

Caution:The base dialling mode is independent from the handset.

To set the base dial mode please look at §9.3.

6. CALLER-ID FUNCTION (CLIP)

The Topcom B2920 displays the telephone numbers of incoming calls. This function is only possible if you are

subscribed to a telephone operator that provides this service. Contact your telephone provider for more information.

When you receive a call, the numbers are saved in a Call list. This list can hold 20 telephone numbers (each of max.

25 digits). If the number is longer then 14 digits, you can press the

key to show the other digits!

6.1 NEW CALLS

When you’ve received a new unanswered call, the CLIP symbol

will blink on the display.

6.2 CONSULTING THE CALL LIST

•

Press the Call Log button . The last received call is shown on the display. If the list is empty, ‘NO CLIP’ is shown

on the display.

The following will be shown on the display:

6.4 ERASING A NUMBER FROM THE CALL LIST

Scroll through the Call list until the desired number is shown on the display.

Press and hold the Mute button for 3 sec. to erase the number.

6.5 STORE A NUMBER FROM THE CALL LOG INTO THE MEMORY

•

Scroll through the Call list until the desired number is shown on the display.

Press and hold the Memory button for 3 sec.

Enter the memory location (0-9) where you want to store the number

Enter the Memory button again to conﬁrm and to go back to standby

7. REGISTER/DE-REGISTER A HANDSET

7.1 REGISTER TO A TOPCOM B2900/2920 BASE

You can subscribe 5 handsets to one base unit. By default, each handset is subscribed on the base unit upon delivery

(base unit 1).

!!!You only need to subscribe the handset if: !!!

The handset subscription has been removed from the base unit (e.g. for reinitialisation)

You want to subscribe a different handset to this base unit.

The underlined procedure is only applicable to a Topcom Butler 24xx, 28xx, 29xx handset and base unit!!

Keep the Paging key on the base unit pressed for 10 seconds until the Line/Charge indicator

on the base unit begins to blink rapidly. The Line/Charge indicator will blink rapidly

for one minute. During this minute, the base unit is in register mode and you must do the

following to subscribe the handset:

The unit will start searching for the base and when found it will ask to enter the pin code (4 digits):

Enter the base pin code (0000). If the pin is wrong, the handset will restart the searching for the base.

When the handset is registered, it will show ‘HS’ followed by the handset number.

7.2 REMOVING A HANDSET

You can remove a handset from a base to allow another handset to be registered:

8. CALL TRANSFER AND INTERCOM BETWEEN TWO

HANDSETS

8.1 CALL TRANSFER AND CONFERENCE CALL DURING AN EXTERNAL CALL

•

During an external call, press the INT key followed by the number (1 - 5) of the other handset.

The other handset will start to ring:

When the other handset takes the line you can talk internally.

If you hang up, the external line will be connected with the other handset.

If you press and hold the INT key for 3 seconds you can talk with the 2nd handset and external line at the same

time (conference call)

Or press the INT key again to return to the external call.

Press the Line button

to end the call.

8.2 INTERNAL CALL (INTERCOM)

•

In standby press the INT key followed by the number (1-5) of the other handset.

The other handset will start to ring. You can stop the ringing by pressing the Line button

9. BASE TELEPHONE OPERATION

You can also make a telephone call by using the base station handsfree speakerphone.

9.1 MAKING A CALL

Press the Handsfree base dialling key

Press the numeric keys on the base to form a telephone number

Press again the Handsfree base dialling key to end the telephone conversation

9.2 ADJUSTING THE SPEAKER VOLUME

Press the ‘+’ or ‘-’ key

during base handsfree conversation to adjust the speaker volume. If the speaker volume is

too loud there is the possibility that the speaker starts to oscillate (flute tone). To avoid this, please lower the speaker

volume.

Caution:The handsfree communication is half duplex which means that if the person on the other side of

the line starts to speak, the microphone is muted, so the person can’t hear you at that time. Please try to

avoid speaking to each other at the same time.

9.3 SETTING THE DIAL MODE FOR THE BASE

You can set the base dialling mode in Pulse(P) or Tone/DTMF(T) by the switch at the bottom of the base.

Caution:The base dialling mode is independent from the handset.

9.4 TRANSFER A CALL FROM BASE TO HANDSET

During base handsfree conversation you can transfer the call to any registered handset by

pressing the paging key . The line indicator LED

You can take over the line by any registered handset when pressing the line-key

Note:The handsets will not ring during transfer!!

9.5 SETTING THE BASE FLASH TIME

You can set the base flash time by the switch at the bottom of the base. You can set it in 100ms or 300ms.

Note:The base ﬂash time is different from the handset ﬂash time.To set the handset ﬂash time, please

refer to §5.10.1.

10.TOPCOM WARRANTY

10.1 WARRANTY PERIOD

The Topcom units have a 36-month warranty period. The warranty period starts on the day the new unit is purchased.

The warranty on batteries is limited to 6 months after purchase. Consumables or defects causing a negligible effect on

operation or value of the equipment are not covered.

The warranty has to be proven by presentation of the original purchase receipt, on which the date of purchase and the

unit-model are indicated.

10.2 WARRANTY HANDLING

A faulty unit needs to be returned to a Topcom service centre including a valid purchase note.

If the unit develops a fault during the warranty period, Topcom or its officially appointed service centre will repair any

defects caused by material or manufacturing faults free of charge.

Topcom will at its discretion fulfil its warranty obligations by either repairing or exchanging the faulty units or parts of

the faulty units. In case of replacement, colour and model can be different from the original purchased unit.

The initial purchase date shall determine the start of the warranty period. The warranty period is not extended if the unit

is exchanged or repaired by Topcom or its appointed service centres.

10.3 WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Damage or defects caused by incorrect treatment or operation and damage resulting from use of non-original parts or

accessories not recommended by Topcom are not covered by the warranty.

Topcom cordless phones are designed to work with rechargeable batteries only. The damage caused by the use of

non-rechargeable batteries is not covered under warranty.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by outside factors, such as lightning, water and fire, nor any damage

caused during transportation.

No warranty can be claimed if the serial number on the units has been changed, removed or rendered illegible.

Any warranty claims will be invalid if the unit has been repaired, altered or modified by the buyer or by unqualified, non-

officially appointed Topcom service centres.

VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN

•

Gebruik enkel de meegeleverde adapter. Geen vreemde adapters gebruiken, de accucellen kunnen hierdoor

beschadigd worden.

•

Gebruik enkel oplaadbare batterijen van hetzelfde type. Gebruik nooit gewone, niet oplaadbare batterijen. Let bij

het plaatsen van de oplaadbare batterijen op de polariteit (aangeduid in de batterijruimte van de handset).

Raak de laad- en stekkercontacten niet aan met scherpe en metalen voorwerpen.

De werking van medische toestellen kan worden beïnvloed.

De handset kan een onaangenaam gezoem veroorzaken in hoorapparaten.

Het basisstation niet opstellen in vochtige ruimten en niet op minder dan 1,5 m van een waterbron. De handset niet

in aanraking brengen met water.

•

De telefoon niet gebruiken in explosieve omgevingen.

Ontdoe u op een milieuvriendelijke wijze van de batterijen en de telefoon.

Daar bij stroomuitval met dit toestel niet kan getelefoneerd worden, in geval van nood een telefoon gebruiken die

geen netstroom nodig heeft bvb. een GSM.

Deze telefoon gebruikt heroplaadbare batterijen die op een milieuvriendelijke manier,

volgens nationale regels dienen te worden ontdaan.

3. INSTALLATIE

3.1 BASIS

•

Sluit de connector van het telefoonsnoer aan op het telefoontoestel en steek het andere uiteinde in de

wandcontactdoos van het telefoonnet.

Steek de kleine stekker van de AC-adapter in het toestel en het andere uiteinde in het stopcontact..

3.2 HANDSET LADER

•

Steek de AC-adapter in het stopcontact..

3.3 HANDSET

•

Plaats de 2 oplaadbare batterijen (AAA) in de batterijruimte onderaan de handset..

Plaats de handset op het basisstation. De rode laadindicator

gaat aan zolang de handset op de basis ligt.

Laad de handset gedurende 24 uur op alvorens de handset voor het eerst te gebruiken. Om de levensduur van de

batterijen te verlengen, dient men de batterijen regelmatig volledig te ontladen. Van zodra de handset een bieptoon laat

horen en het batterij-icoon leeg is

moet u de handset terug op de basis plaatsen om op te laden.

4. BATTERIJ LEEG INDICATOR

Als de batterij leeg is, voert de handset geen operaties meer uit. Als een batterij volledig leeg is en u hebt deze even

op de basis gelegd om op te laden, geeft het Batterijsymbool aan dat de batterij weer helemaal opgeladen is. Dit is

echter niet het geval. De capaciteit zal snel dalen. Gelieve de batterij op te laden gedurende minstens 12 uur.

Als u in gesprek bent en de batterij is bijna leeg, weerklinkt elke 60 seconden een waarschuwingssignaal. Leg de

handset op de basis om op te laden.

5. WERKING HANDSET

5.1 UITGAANDE GESPREKKEN

5.1.1 Gewoon telefoneren

•

Druk op de Lijntoets . U hoort de kiestoon.

Voer het gewenste telefoonnummer in.

Druk op de Lijntoets

om, na het gesprek, de verbinding te verbreken.

5.1.2 Blokkiezen

•

Geef het gewenste telefoonnummer in. Foutieve ingaven kunnen gecorrigeerd worden met behulp van de Mute-

toets . Als u gedurende 10 seconden op geen enkele toets drukt, verdwijnt het reeds ingegeven nummer en

keert de handset terug naar standby-modus.

•

Druk op de Lijntoets . Het nummer wordt gevormd.

om, na het gesprek, de verbinding te verbreken.

5.1.3 Terugbellen van het laatst gevormde nummer

•

Druk op de Lijntoets

De Lijn/Laad-indicator

U hoort de kiestoon.

(LED) op de basis knippert.

Druk op de Herkiestoets . Het nummer dat u als laatste hebt opgebeld, wordt automatisch gevormd zonder dat

u het nummer opnieuw moet vormen.

5.1.4 Terugbellen van één van de 5 laatst gevormde nummers

•

Druk op de Herkiestoets . Het nummer dat u het laatst hebt opgebeld, verschijnt op de display. Als u één van

de 5 laatst gevormde nummers wil terugbellen, drukt u enkele keren op de Herkiestoets

nummer op de display verschijnt.

5.2 INKOMENDE OPROEPEN

•

Bij een binnenkomende oproep, beginnen alle handsets te rinkelen. De

5.3 HANDENVRIJ-FUNCTIE AAN-/UITSCHAKELEN

Deze functie laat u toe een gesprek te voeren zonder dat u de hoorn in de hand hoeft te nemen.

Als u in gesprek bent, drukt u op de Handenvrij-toets om de handenvrij-functie aan te schakelen.

Druk op dezelfde toets om de handenvrij-functie uit te schakelen.

Opmerking: Als u handenvrij aan het telefoneren bent en u wil het volume aanpassen, druk dan op de

Volume-toets

Opgepast !! Tijdens het gebruik van de handenvrij functie zullen de batterijen vlugger leeg zijn!

5.4 GEHEUGENNUMMERS PROGRAMMEREN

Men kan maximum 10 indirecte nummers van max. 25 digits programmeren in het geheugen van de telefoon.

•

Druk en hou de geheugentoets

Geef het telefoonnummer is dat u wenst te bewaren.

Druk opnieuw op de geheugentoets ter bevestiging.

Geef de geheugenlocatie (0-9) in waar u het telefoonnummer wenst te bewaren.

Na de confirmatietoon zal de -icoon verdwijnen.

Opmerkingen:

Indien u een pause van 3 seconden wilt programmeren, druk dan op de herkies/pause

5.5 EEN GEHEUGENNUMMER OPROEPEN

•

Druk op de Geheugentoets , gevolgd door het geheugenplaatsnummer (0-9)..

Druk op de Lijn-toets . Het geheugennummer wordt automatisch gevormd.

Druk op de Lijntoets

om, na het gesprek, de verbinding te verbreken.

5.6 TIJDELIJKE UITSCHAKELING VAN DE MICROFOON (MUTE)

Het is mogelijk de microfoon tijdens een gesprek uit te schakelen. Dan kan u vrij spreken zonder dat de beller u kan

horen.

•

Druk, tijdens een gesprek, op de Mute-toets . De microfoon wordt gedeactiveerd. Op de display verschijnt het

MUTE-symbool

Druk opnieuw op de Mute-toets

•

om het gesprek te hervatten.

5.7 VOLUME REGELEN

Tijdens een gesprek kan u het volume regelen met de Volumeknop

het juiste volume te kiezen (Hi, Med, Lo).

Opmerking: Ook het volume van de handenvrij luidspreker is aanpasbaar zoals hierboven beschreven!

5.8 PAGING

Als u op de Paging-toets

van het basisstation drukt, begint de handset gedurende 20 seconden te rinkelen. Deze

beltoon helpt u een verloren handset terug te vinden. Druk op een willekeurige toets om het rinkelen te stoppen.

5.9 BUITEN BEREIK-WAARSCHUWING

Als de handset zich, tijdens een gesprek, buiten het bereik van de basis bevindt, weerklinkt een kort

waarschuwingssignaal om de gebruiker te waarschuwen dat hij zich dichter naar de basis moet begeven.

5.10 FLASHTOETS (R)

Als u drukt op de R-toets, ook wel flash of recall genoemd, dan genereert het toestel een lijnonderbreking (aan 100 ms

of 250 ms). Deze laat u toe gebruik te maken van speciale diensten die door uw telefoonmaatschappij worden

aangeboden en/of gesprekken door te verbinden op een binnenhuiscentrale.

5.10.1 Flash-tijd instellen

Opmerking: de basis ﬂashtijd is verschillend van de handset ﬂashtijd. Zie §9.5 om de basis ﬂashtijd in te

stellen.

5.11 HET BELVOLUME EN DE BELTOON INSTELLEN

5.11.1 Handset melodie

5.12 TOETSENBORD BLOKKEREN

Wanneer het toetsenbord geblokkeerd is, heeft het indrukken van toetsen geen effect in standby (behalve de -toets

ingedrukt houden).

Bij een binnenkomende oproep kunt u de oproep nog steeds beantwoorden door op de Lijn-knop

te drukken. Tijdens

het gesprek werkt het toetsenbord zoals normaal. Als het gesprek is beëindigd, wordt het toetsenbord geblokkeerd.

5.13 DE KIESMODUS INSTELLEN

Er zijn twee kiesmodi:

•

DTMF/toonsysteem (het meest gebruikelijke)

Pulssysteem (bij oudere installaties)

Om de kiesmodus in te stellen:

•

Druk en hou de ﬂash R-toets ingedrukt om tussen beide kiesmodus te schakelen:

‘P’ zal verschijnen wanneer het toestel in pulse keizen staat of ‘T’ wanneer het in toonkiezen (DTMF) staat.

Opgepast: Het kiessysteem in de basis is verschillend van de handsets. Zie §9.3 om het kiessysteem van

de basis in te stellen.

6. NUMMERWEERGAVE (CLIP-CALLER ID)

De Butler 2920 geeft het telefoonnummer weer bij inkomende oproepen. Deze functie is echter enkel mogelijk als deze

dienst door uw telefoonmaatschappij wordt aangeboden en als u op deze dienst geabonneerd bent. Neem hiervoor

contact op met uw telefoonmaatschappij. Als u een oproep hebt ontvangen, worden de nummers bewaard in een

oproeplijst. In deze lijst kunnen 20 nummers (van elk max. 25 digits) bewaard worden. Als het nummer meer dan 14

cijfers bevat, kunt u met de

toets de andere cijfers laten weergeven!

6.1 NIEUWE OPROEPEN

Wanneer u nieuwe onbeantwoorde oproepen heeft ontvangen, verschijnt het CLIP icoon

op het scherm.

6.2 RAADPLEGEN VAN DE OPROEPLIJST

•

Druk op de Oproeplijst-toets . De laatst ontvangen oproep verschijnt op het scherm. Wanneer de lijst leeg is

verschijnt er ‘NO CLIP’ op het scherm.

•

6.3 OPROEPEN VAN EEN NUMMER UIT DE OPROEPLIJST

•

Doorloop de lijst tot het gewenste nummer op de display verschijnt.

Druk op de Lijntoets . Het nummer wordt automatisch gevormd.

6.4 TELEFOONNUMMERS UIT DE OPROEPLIJST WISSEN

•

Doorloop de lijst tot het gewenste nummer op de display verschijnt.

Druk en hou +/- 3 seconden de Microfoon-Uit toets in om de oproep te wissen.

6.5 NUMMER UIT DE OPROEPLIJST IN HET GEHEUGEN OPSLAAN

•

Zoek in de oproeplijst tot het gewenste nummer wordt weergegeven.

Druk en hou 3 seconden lang de geheugentoets ingedrukt.

Geef de gewenste locatie (0-9) in waar u het nummer wenst te bewaren

Druk opnieuw op de Geheugentoets ter bevestiging

7. AANMELDEN/AFMELDEN VAN EEN HANDSET

7.1 AANMELDEN OP EEN BUTLER 2900/2920 BASIS

U kan 5 handsets op een basis aanmelden. Elk handset is bij uitlevering standaard aangemeld op de bijgeleverde basis

(basis 1).

!!! U hoeft enkel deze aanmelding uit te voeren: !!!

•

indien de handset is afgemeld op zijn basis (bij een reinitialisatie bv)

wanneer u een andere handset op deze basis wilt aanmelden.

De onderstaande procedure is enkel geldig voor een Butler 24xx, 28xx, 29xx handset en basis!!

Houd de Paging-toets op de basis 10 seconden ingedrukt tot de Lijn/Laad-indicator op de basis snel begint te

knipperen. De Lijn/Laad-indicator zal gedurende één minuut snel knipperen. Tijdens deze minuut is de basis in

aanmeld-modus en moet u het volgende doen om de handset aan te melden:

Wanneer de handset is aangemeld zal er ‘HS’ + handset nummer verschijnen op het display.

7.2 HANDSET VERWIJDEREN (AFMELDEN)

U kan andere handset afmelden om zo plaats te maken voor nieuwe handsets indien nodig:

•

Geef de pincode (0000) in. Indien de pincode verkeerd is zal de handset terug keren naar standby.

Het toestel keert terug naar standby als de afmelding is gelukt. Indien de afmelding is mislukt zal de handset

opnieuw naar het handset nummer vragen.

Opmerking: U kan enkel andere handset afmelden en niet degene die u gebruikt om de afmelding te doen.

8. OPROEPDOORSCHAKELING EN INTERCOMGESPREKKEN

TUSSEN TWEE HANDSETS

8.1 DOORVERBINDEN EN CONFERENTIE GESPREK TIJDENS EXTERNE COMMUNICATIE

•

Tijdens een externe oproep drukt u op de INT- toets, gevolgd door het nummer (1-3) van de andere handset.

De andere handset begint te rinkelen.

Als de andere handset antwoordt, kunt u intern praten.

Als u inhaakt, wordt de externe lijn doorgeschakeld naar de andere handset.

Wanneer u de INT toets gedurende 3 seconden indrukt kan u een gesprek voeren met de 2de handset en de

externe lijn tegelijkertijd.

Of druk nogmaals op de INT-toets om terug te keren naar de externe oproep.

•

Druk op de Lijn-toets

om de oproep te beëindigen.

8.2 INTERNE OPROEP (INTERCOM)

•

Druk op de INT-toets in de standbymodus, gevolgd door het nummer (1-3) van de andere handset.

De andere handset laat een beltoon horen. U kunt de beltoon stoppen door de Lijn-toets

nogmaals in te

drukken.

•

Als de andere handset de oproep beantwoordt, kunt u met een druk op de Lijn-toets

9.2 LUIDSPREKER VOLUME AANPASSEN

Druk op de ‘+’ of ‘-’ toets

tijdens gesprek om het luidspreker volume aan te passen. Indien het luidspreker volume

te luid staat ingesteld kan de luidspreker gaan oscilleren (fluittoon). Vermijd dit door het luidspreker volume terug lager

in te stellen.

Opgepast: De handenvrij communicatie is maar in één richting. Indien de persoon aan de andere kant van

de lijn begint te praten, zal de microfoon uitgeschakeld worden, en zal hij u niet horen. Probeer om

beurten te spreken met elkaar.

9.3 KIESMODE OP DE BASIS INSTELLEN

U kan de basisstation telefoon kiesmodi instellen in Toon (T) of Puls (P) doormiddel van de Toon/Puls schakelaar

onderaan de basis.

Opgepast: Het kiessysteem in de basis is verschillend van de handsets. Zie §5.13 om het

kiessysteem van de handset in te stellen.

9.4 GESPREK DOORVERBINDEN VAN BASIS NAAR HANDSET

Tijdens basisstation telefoneren kan u het gesprek doorverbinden naar eender welk handset aangemeld op deze basis

door op de paging toets

•

9.5 BASIS FLASHTIJD INSTELLEN

U kan de flashtijd van de basisstation telefoon wijzigen doormiddel van de flashtijd schakelaar onderaan de basis. De

flashtijd kan ingesteld worden op 100ms of 300ms.

Opgepast: de basis ﬂashtijd is verschillend van de handset ﬂashtijd. Zie §5.10.1 om de handset ﬂashtijd

in te stellen.

10. GARANTIE

10.1 GARANTIEPERIODE

Op de Topcom-toestellen wordt een garantie van 36 maanden verleend. De garantieperiode begint op de dag waarop

het nieuwe toestel wordt gekocht. De garantie op batterijen is beperkt tot 6 maanden na aankoop. Kleine onderdelen

of defecten die een verwaarloosbaar effect hebben op de werking of waarde van het toestel zijn niet gedekt door de

garantie.

De garantie moet worden bewezen door voorlegging van het aankoopbewijs waarop de datum van aankoop en het

toesteltype staan.

10.2 AFWIKKELING VAN GARANTIECLAIMS

Een defect toestel moet, samen met een geldig aankoopbewijs, worden teruggestuurd naar een Topcom-hersteldienst.

Als het toestel tijdens de garantieperiode een defect vertoont, zal Topcom of diens officieel erkende hersteldienst

eventuele defecten te wijten aan materiaal- of productiefouten gratis herstellen.

Topcom zal naar keuze haar garantieverplichtingen vervullen door defecte toestellen of onderdelen van defecte

toestellen ofwel te herstellen ofwel te vervangen. In het geval dat het toestel wordt vervangen, kan de kleur en het

model verschillend zijn van het oorspronkelijk gekochte toestel.

De oorspronkelijke aankoopdatum is bepalend voor het begin van de garantieperiode. De garantieperiode wordt niet

verlengd als het toestel wordt vervangen of hersteld door Topcom of diens officieel erkende hersteldienst.

10.3 GARANTIEBEPERKINGEN

Schade of defecten te wijten aan onoordeelkundig gebruik of bediening en schade te wijten aan het gebruik van niet-

originele onderdelen of accessoires die niet zijn aanbevolen door Topcom, worden niet gedekt door de garantie.

Topcom draadloze telefoons mogen enkel met oplaadbare batterijen worden gebruikt. Schade te wijten aan het gebruik

van niet-oplaadbare batterijen is niet gedekt door de garantie.

De garantie dekt geen schade te wijten aan externe factoren, zoals bliksem, water en brand, noch enige

transportschade.

Er kan geen garantie worden ingeroepen als het serienummer op het toestel is gewijzigd, verwijderd of onleesbaar

gemaakt.

Garantieclaims zijn ongeldig indien het toestel hersteld, gewijzigd of aangepast werd door de koper of door niet-

gekwalificeerde, niet-officieel erkende Topcom-hersteldienst.

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ

•

Utilisez uniquement l’adaptateur fourni à la livraison. Ne pas utiliser des adaptateurs étrangers, les cellules de

charge pourraient être endommagées.

•

Installez uniquement des batteries rechargeables du même type. N'utilisez en aucun cas des batteries normales

non rechargeables. Placez correctement les pôles des batteries rechargeables (comme indiqué dans le

compartiment à batteries du combiné).

•

Ne touchez pas les contacts des chargeurs et des prises à l'aide d'objets contendants et métalliques.

Le fonctionnement des appareils médicaux peut être perturbé.

Le combiné peut provoquer des grésillements désagréables dans des écouteurs.

Ne pas placer le poste de base dans une pièce humide ou à moins de 1,5 m d'un point d'eau. Le combiné ne peut

être en contact avec l'eau.

N'utilisez pas le téléphone dans un endroit où une explosion est susceptible de se produire.

Respectez les directives relatives à la mise en décharge et au retraitement des batteries et du téléphone.

Etant donné qu'il n'est pas possible d'utiliser le téléphone pendant une panne d'électricité, employez un téléphone

indépendant de l'alimentation sur secteur, par exemple un téléphone portable, pour tout appel d'urgence.

Ce téléphone utilise des piles rechargeables. Vous êtes tenu de vous débarrasser des

3. INSTALLATION

3.1 BASE

•

Raccordez le connecteur du fil téléphonique au téléphone et enfoncez l'autre bout dans la boîte de contact murale

du réseau téléphonique.

Introduisez la petite fiche de l'adaptateur AC dans l'appareil et branchez l'autre bout sur une prise.

3.2 CHARGEUR

4. INDICATION DE NIVEAU FAIBLE DES PILES

Lorsque la batterie est épuisée, le combiné n'exécute plus d'opérations. Lorsqu'une batterie est complètement épuisée

et que vous avez déposé le combiné un moment sur le poste de base pour le recharger, le symbole Batterie indique

que la batterie est de nouveau complètement chargée. Ceci n'est cependant pas le cas. La capacité baissera

rapidement. Il est conseillé de laisser le combiné pendant 12 heures sur le poste de base pour que la batterie soit

complètement rechargée.

5. FONCTIONNEMENT DU COMBINÉ

5.1 APPELS SORTANTS

5.1.1 Téléphoner

•

Appuyez sur la touche de Ligne . Vous entendez la tonalité.

Composez le numéro de téléphone désiré.

Appuyez sur la touche de Ligne

après la conversation, pour couper la communication.

5.1.2 Sélection en bloc

•

Composez le numéro de téléphone désiré. Vous pouvez encore corriger le numéro en vous servant de la touche

Mute . Quand vous n’appuyez pas de touche pendant 10 secondes, le numéro vous avez déjà composé

disparaît et le combiné retourne au mode d’attente..

•

Appuyez sur la touche de Ligne . Le numéro sera composé.

5.1.3 Rappel du dernier numéro formé

•

Appuyez sur la touche Ligne

automatiquement sans que vous ayez à former une nouvelle fois ce numéro.

5.1.4 Rappel de l’un des 5 derniers numéros formés

Appuyez sur la touche Rappel . Le numéro que vous avez appelé en dernier apparaît à

l’écran. Si vous souhaitez rappeler l’un des 5 derniers numéros formés, vous appuyez à plusieurs

reprises sur la touche Rappel

Le numéro affiché à l’écran est formé automatiquement sans que vous ayez à former une

nouvelle fois ce numéro.

5.2 APPELS ENTRANTS

Le combiné se met à sonner en cas d’appels entrants .La DEL

Appuyez sur la touche de Ligne pour pouvoir répondre à l’appel.

5.3 ACTIVER/DÉSACTIVER LA FONCTION MAINS-LIBRES

Cette fonction vous permet de téléphoner sans décrocher le combiné. Quand vous téléphonez,

appuyez sur la touche Mains-libres pour activer la fonction mains-libres.

Appuyez sur la même touche pour désactiver la fonction mains-libres.

Remarque :Quand vous téléphonez en mode mains-libres et vous voulez changer le

volume, appuyez sur la touche Volume .

Attention !! Lorsque vous utilisez la fonction mains-libres pendant longtemps, les piles se déchargent

plus rapidement !

5.4 PROGRAMMER DES NUMÉROS MÉMOIRES

Il est possible de programmer 10 numéros indirects (de max. 25 chiffres) dans le répertoire du téléphone.

•

Appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le bouton Mémoire

Entrez le numéro de téléphone que vous souhaitez enregistrer.

Appuyez de nouveau sur le bouton Mémoire pour confirmer.

Entrez l’emplacement de mémoire (0-9) où vous souhaitez enregistrer le numéro.

Vous entendez une tonalité de confirmation et l’icône disparaîtera.

5.6 COUPURE DU MICRO (MUTE)

Il est possible de désactiver le microphone pendant une communication. De cette façon vous pouvez parler librement,

sans que celui qui appelle vous entende.

Quand vous êtes en communication, appuyez sur la touche Mute . Le microphone est désactivé. Le symbole

Mute apparaît à l’écran.

5.7 RÉGLER LE VOLUME

Pendant une conversation vous pouvez régler le volume en appuyant sur le bouton volume

5.8 PAGING

Quand vous appuyez sur la touche Paging

du poste de base, le combiné commence à sonner pendant 20 secondes.

Cette sonnerie vous aide de retrouver un combiné perdu. Appuyez sur n’importe quel bouton sur un combiné pour

arrêter la sonnerie.

5.9 SIGNAL D’AVERTISSEMENT HORS-PORTÉE

Si le combiné se trouve, pendant une communication, hors de portée du poste de base, vous entendez un signal

d’avertissement court pour avertir l’utilisateur qu’il doit se rapprocher au poste de base.

5.10 TOUCHE FLASH (R)

Quand vous appuyez sur la touche R, aussi appelée flash ou recall, l’appareil génère une rupture calibrée de la ligne

(de 100 ou 250 ms). Elle permet l’utilisation des services spéciaux de votre compagnie téléphonique et / ou de

transférer des appels si vous avez un central téléphonique.

5.10.1 Régler le temps Flash

•

Appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le bouton de rappel

L’écran afﬁche :

’S pour 100ms

ou ’L’ pour 250ms

Le réglage du temps ﬂash disparaît de l’écran après 2 sec.

•

Attention : Le temps ﬂash de la base est différent de celui du combiné. Pour régler le temps ﬂash du

base, reportez-vous au point § 9.5.

5.11 RÉGLER LE VOLUME DE SONNERIE ET LA MÉLODIE

5.11.1 Mélodie du combiné

Appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le bouton mélodie

Sélectionnez la mélodie désirée (1-9) au moyen des touches de déﬁlement

(1 - 9).

5.12 VERROUILLAGE DU CLAVIER

Lorsque le clavier est verrouillé, appuyer sur une touche n’aura aucun effet en mode stand-by (excepté si vous

maintenez enfoncé la touche ).

Appuyez de nouveau et maintenez enfoncé le bouton

pour déverrouiller le clavier.

En cas d’appel entrant, vous pouvez toujours répondre à l’appel en appuyant sur la touche Ligne . Durant l’appel,

les fonctions du clavier sont normales. Lorsque l’appel est terminé, le clavier est à nouveau verrouillé.

5.13 REGLAGE DU MODE DE COMPOSITION DES NUMEROS

Il existe deux types de composition des numéros:

•

DTMF/composition par tonalité (le mode le plus commun)

Composition par pulsations (pour les installations plus anciennes)

Pour modifier le mode de numérotation :

•

Appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le bouton ﬂash R pour passer entre les modes de numérotation :

’P’ apparaît lorsque le mode impulsion est sélectionné ou ’T’ lorsque la numérotation est réglée sur tonalité

(DTMF)

•

Après 5 sec., l’unité revient en stand-by

Attention: le mode de numérotation de la base est indépendant de celui du combiné. Pour régler le mode

de numérotation du base, veuillez vous reporter au point §9.3.

6. AFFICHAGE DU NUMÉRO (CLIP-CALLER ID)

Le Butler 2920 montre les numéros de téléphone quand il reçoit des appels entrants. Cette fonction ne fonctionne

cependant que lorsque ce service est offert par votre compagnie de téléphonie et lorsque vous êtes abonné à ce

service. Prenez contact avec votre compagnie téléphonique.

Quand vous avez reçu un appel, l’appareil garde le numéro dans une liste d’appels. L’appareil peut garder 20 numéros

(de 25 chiffres au maximum) dans la liste d’appels. Si le numéro est plus long que 14 chiffres, vous pouvez appuyer

sur la touche

pour afficher les autre chiffres!

6.1 NOUVEAUX APPELS

Lorsque vous avez reçu un nouvel appel resté sans réponse, le symbole CLIP

clignote à l’écran.

6.2 CONSULTER LA LISTE D’APPELS

•

Appuyez sur la touche liste d’appels . Le dernier appel reçu est affiché à l’écran. Si la liste est vide, ’NO CLIP’

s’affiche à l’écran.

•

Ce qui suit s’affiche à l’écran :

6.3 APPELER UN NUMÉRO DE LA LISTE D’APPELS

Parcourez la liste d’appels jusqu’à l’affichage du numéro désiré à l’écran.

Appuyez sur la touche de Ligne . Le numéro sera composé automatiquement.

6.4 EFFACER DES NUMÉROS DE TÉLÉPHONE DE LA LISTE D’APPELS

•

Parcourez la liste d’appels jusqu’à l’affichage du numéro désiré à l’écran.

Appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le bouton Mute pendant 3 sec. pour effacer le numéro.

6.5 ENREGISTRER UN NUMÉRO DE LA LISTE D’APPELS DANS LA MÉMOIRE

•

Parcourez la liste d’appels jusqu’à ce que le numéro désiré s’afﬁche à l’écran.

Appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le bouton Mémoire pendant 3 sec.

Entrez l’emplacement de mémoire (0-9) où vous souhaitez enregistrer le numéro

Appuyez à nouveau sur le bouton Mémoire pour conﬁrmer et revenir en mode stand-by

7. ENREGISTRER / ANNULER UN COMBINÉ

7.1 ENREGISTRER SUR UNE BASE BUTLER 2900/2920

Vous pouvez annoncer 5 combinés à une seule base. Lors de la livraison, les réglages standard prévoient que chaque

combiné soit annoncé à la base fournie (base 1).

!!! Vous n’avez à effectuer cette annonce que dans les cas suivants : !!!

•

si l’annonce du combiné a été annulée au niveau de sa base (en cas de réinitialisation, par exemple)

lorsque vous souhaitez annoncer un autre combiné à cette même base.

La procédure ci-dessous n’est valable que pour un combiné et une base Butler 24xx, 29xx, 28xx!!

Maintenez la touche Paging de la base enfoncée pendant 10 secondes jusqu’à ce que l’indicateur Ligne/Charge de

cette base commence à clignoter à intervalles rapides.

L’indicateur Ligne/Charge clignotera très vite pendant une minute. Pendant cette minute, la base se trouve en mode

d’annonce et vous devrez effectuer les manipulations suivantes

pour annoncer le combiné ::

•

Appuyez et maintenez enfoncés les boutons

Ce qui suit apparaît à l’écran :

•

Entrez le numéro de l’unité de base sur laquelle vous aimeriez enregistrer votre combiné (1-4)

L’unité commence à chercher la base et lorsqu’elle l’aura trouvée, vous serez invité à introduire le code pin (4

chiffres):

•

Entrez le code pin de la base (0000). Si le code pin est erroné, le combiné recommence à chercher la base.

Lorsque le combiné est enregistré, il affiche ’HS’ suivi par le numéro de combiné.

7.2 DÉSINSCRIRE UN COMBINÉ

Vous pouvez éliminer un combiné de la base pour permettre à un autre combiné de s’enregistrer :

•

Appuyez et maintenez enfoncé le bouton mute

et le bouton rappel

pendant 3 sec.

•

Entrez le code pin (0000). Si le code pin est erroné, le combiné passe en mode stand-by.

Entrez le numéro du combiné (1-5) que vous souhaitez retirer

Si l’unité revient en stand-by, la désincription est réussie. Sinon, elle vous invitera à nouveau à introduire le

numéro du combiné

Remarque:Vous pouvez uniquement éliminer les combinés existants et autres que celui que vous

utilisez

8.TRANSFERT D’APPEL ET INTERCOM ENTRE LES DEUX

COMBINÉS

8.1 TRANSFERT D’APPEL ET APPEL EN CONFÉRENCE PENDANT UN APPEL EXTERNE

•

Durant un appel externe, appuyez sur la touche INT suivie par le numéro (1 - 5) de l’autre combiné.

L’autre combiné se mettra à sonner.

Lorsque l’autre combiné décroche, vous pouvez parler en interne.

Si vous raccrochez, la ligne externe sera connectée à l’autre combiné.

Si vous appuyez sur la touche INT et la maintenez enfoncée pendant 3 secondes, vous pouvez parler avec

le deuxième combiné et la ligne externe en même temps (appel en conférence)

to end the call.

8.2 APPEL INTERNE (INTERCOM)

•

En mode stand-by, appuyez sur le bouton INT suivie par le numéro (1 -5) de l’autre combiné.

L’autre combiné commencera à sonner. Il est possible d’arrêter la sonnerie en appuyant de nouveau sur le bouton

line

•

Si l’autre combiné répond à l’appel en appuyant sur le bouton line , vous pouvez communiquer entre les deux

combinés.

Appuyez sur le bouton line

pour mettre un terme à l’appel.

9. UTILISATION DU TÉLÉPONE PAR BASE

Vous pouvez également passer un appel téléphonique à l’aide de mode mains-libres de la station de base.

9.1 PASSER UN APPEL

•

Appuyez la touche de numérotation mains-libres de la base

pour prendre la ligne

Appuyez sur les touches numériques de la base pour former un numéro de téléphone

Appuyez à nouveau sur la touche de numérotation mains-libres de la base pour mettre un terme à la conversation

9.2 RÉGLER LE VOLUME DU HAUT-PARLEUR

Appuyez sur la touche ’+’ ou ’-’

pendant la conversation mains-libres pour régler le volume du haut-parleur. Si le

volume du haut-parleur est trop élevé, il est possible que le haut-parleur commence à osciller (tonalité de sifflement).

Pour éviter ceci, veuillez baisser le volume du haut-parleur.

Attention : La communication mains-libres est en semi duplex, ce qui signiﬁe que si la personne de

l’autre côté de la ligne commence à parler, le microphone est désactivé de sorte que la personne ne peut

vous entendre à ce moment. Essayez d’éviter de vous parler en même temps.

Note : le volume du haut-parleur pour le mode mains-libres est différent du volume du répondeur !!

9.3 RÉGLER LE MODE DE NUMÉROTATION DE LA BASE

Vous pouvez régler le mode de numérotation de la base en impulsion (P) ou tonalités/DTMF(T) à l’aide du commutateur

se trouvant sous la base.

Attention: le mode de numérotation de la base est indépendant de celui du combiné. Pour régler le mode

de numérotation du combiné, veuillez vous reporter au point §5.13.

9.4 TRANSFÉRER UN APPEL DE LA BASE AU COMBINÉ

Pendant une conversation mains-libres sur la base, vous pouvez transférer l’appel vers n’importe quel combiné

enregistré en appuyant sur la touche paging . La DEL d’indication de ligne

vous pouvez reprendre la ligne depuis n’importe quel combiné enregistré en appuyant sur la touche ligne

Ou appuyez de nouveau sur la touche paging si vous ne souhaitez pas transférer l’appel

commence à clignoter.

Note : Les combinés ne sonnent pas pendant le transfert !!

9.5 RÉGLER LE TEMPS FLASH DE LA BASE

Vous pouvez régler le temps flash de la base à l’aide du commutateur situé sous la base. Vous pouvez le régler sur

100ms ou 300ms.

Attention : Le temps ﬂash de la base est différent de celui du combiné. Pour régler le temps ﬂash du

combiné, reportez-vous au point § 5.10.1.

10. GARANTIE

10.1 PÉRIODE DE GARANTIE

Les appareils de Topcom jouissent d’une période de garantie de 36 mois. La période de garantie commence le jour

d’achat du nouvel appareil. La garantie sur les batteries est limitée à 6 mois après l’achat. Les accessoires ou défauts

entraînant un effet négligeable sur le fonctionnement de l’appareil ne sont pas couverts.

La garantie doit être prouvée par la présentation de la facture ou du reçu original, sur lequel sont mentionnés la date

de l’achat et le type de l’unité.

10.2 TRAITEMENT DE LA GARANTIE

Un appareil défectueux doit être retourné à un centre de service Topcom accompagné d’une note d’achat valide.

Si l’appareil tombe en panne pendant la période de garantie, Topcom ou son centre de service officiel réparera

gratuitement toute panne due à un défaut matériel ou de fabrication.

Topcom assurera, à sa propre discrétion, ses obligations de garantie en réparant ou en échangeant les unités ou les

pièces défectueuses. En cas de remplacement, la couleur et le modèle peuvent être différents de l’appareil acheté

initialement.

La date d’achat initiale détermine le début de la période de garantie. La période de garantie n’est pas prolongée si

l’appareil est échangé ou réparé par Topcom et ses centres de service officiels.

10.3 EXCLUSIONS DE GARANTIE

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE

Verwenden Sie nur das mitgelieferte Steckernetzgerät. Keine fremden Adapter verwenden, die Akkuzellen können

5. BETRIEB HANDSET

5.1 TELEFONIEREN

5.1.1 Normaler Verbindungsaufbau

•

Betätigen Sie die Leitungstaste . Sie hören das Freizeichen.

Wählen Sie die gewünschte Nummer.

Betätigen Sie, nach dem Gespräch, die Leitungstaste

um die Verbindung zu beenden.

5.1.2 Telefonieren mit Wahlvorbereitung

•

Wählen Sie die gewünschte Nummer. Fehlerhafte Eingaben können mit der Mikrofonstummschaltungstaste C/

korrigiert werden. Wenn mehr als 60 Sekunden zwischen zwei Eingaben liegen, verschwindet die bereits

eingegebene Nummer und das Mobilteil wechselt wieder in den Standby-Modus.

Betätigen Sie die Leitungstaste . Die Nummer wird gewählt.

Wenn sich das Mobilteil während eines Gesprächs außerhalb der Reichweite der Basisstation befindet, hört der

Benutzer einen kurzen Warnton, der ihn dazu auffordert, näher an die Basisstation heranzugehen.

5.10 FLASHTASTE (R)

Die R-Taste, auch Flash- oder Recall-Taste genannt, erzeugt bei Betätigung eine Verbindungsunterbrechung (von 100

oder 250 Ms), die es Ihnen ermöglicht, vom Netz-Betreiber bereitgestellte Dienste zu nutzen und/oder Gespräche in

der hauseigenen Telefonanlage weiterzuschalten.

5.10.1 Einstellen der Flash-Zeit

Der B2920 zeigt die Rufnummer des anrufenden Teilnehmers an. Die Rufnummernanzeige ist jedoch nur verfügbar,

wenn sie von Ihrem Netz-Betreiber unterstützt wird und Sie diesen Dienst beauftragt haben. Weitere Informationen zu

diesem Dienst erhalten Sie von Ihrem Netzbetreiber. Wenn Sie einen Anruf entgegengenommen haben, werden die

Rufnummern in einer Anrufliste gespeichert. In dieser Liste können 20 Rufnummern (max. 25-stellig) gespeichert

werden. Wenn die Nummer länger als 14 Ziffern ist, Sie können die

anzuzeigen!

7. ANMELDEN UND ABMELDEN EINES HANDAPPARATES

7.1 ANMELDEN AN EINE B2900/2920 BASISSTATION

Sie können bis zu 5 Mobilteile bei einer Basiseinheit anmelden. Standardmäßig ist jedes Mobilteil bei Lieferung an der

Basiseinheit angemeldet (Base Unit 1).

!!!Sie müssen das Mobilteil nur anmelden, wenn: !!!

•

die Mobilteil-Anmeldung von der Basiseinheit entfernt wurde (z.B. bei Neuinitialisierung).

Sie ein anderes Mobilteil an dieser Basiseinheit anmelden möchten.

Das nachfolgende Verfahren ist nur bei einem Mobilteil und einer Basiseinheit der Marke Butler 24xx, 28xx, 29xx

anwendbar!!

Halten Sie die Paging-Taste der Basiseinheit ungefähr 10 Sekunden eingedrückt, bis die Leitungs-/Ladeanzeige der

Basiseinheit schnell blinkt. Die Leitungs-/Ladeanzeige wird eine Minute lang schnell blinken. Während dieser Minute

befindet sich die Basiseinheit im Anmeldemodus und müssen Sie wie folgt vorgehen, um das Mobilteil anzumelden:

Ist der Handapparat angemeldet, erscheint ’HS’ und die Handapparatenummer im Display.

9.1 ANRUFEN

Mikrofon stummgeschaltet ist, wenn der Gesprächspartner am anderen Ende der Leitung spricht, sodass

er Sie dann nicht hören kann. Bitte sprechen Sie nicht gleichzeitig miteinander.

Anmerkung: Die Lautstärke des Freisprech-Lautsprechers ist anders als die Lautstärke des

Anrufbeantworters!!

9.3 DEN WÄHLMODUS DER BASISEINHEIT EINSTELLEN

Sie können den Wählmodus der Basiseinheit mit dem Schalter auf der Rückseite der Basiseinheit auf Impuls(P) oder

Achtung: Die Flash-Zeit der Basiseinheit ist anders als die des Handsets. Zum Einstellen der Flash-Zeit

des Handsets siehe § 5.10.1.

10. GARANTIE

10.1 GARANTIEZEIT

Topcom Geräte habe eine 36-monatige Garantiezeit.Die Garantiezeit beginnt an dem Tag, an dem das neue Gerät

erworben wurde. Die Garantie für Batterien ist auf 6 Monate nach Erwerb begrenzt.Verschleißartikel oder Mängel, die

den Wert oder die Gebrauchstauglichkeit des Gerätes nur unerheblich beeinflussen, sind von der Garantie

ausgeschlossen.

Der Garantieanspruch muss durch den Originalkaufbeleg, auf dem das Kaufdatum und das Gerätemodell ersichtlich

sind, nachgewiesen werden.

10.2 ABWICKLUNG DES GARANTIEFALLES

Senden Sie das fehlerhafte Gerät mit dem gültigen Kaufbeleg an ein Topcom Service Zentrum.

Tritt ein Gerätefehler innerhalb der Garantiezeit auf, übernimmt Topcom oder ein autorisiertes Service Zentrum

unentgeltlich die Reparatur jedes durch einen Material- oder Herstellerfehler aufgetretenen Defekts.

Topcom wird nach eigenem Ermessen die Garantieansprüche mittels Reparatur oder Austausch des fehlerhaften

Gerätes oder von Teilen des fehlerhaften Gerätes erfüllen.Bei einem Austausch können die Farbe und das Modell vom

eigentlich erworbenen Gerät abweichen.

Das ursprüngliche Kaufdatum bestimmt den Beginn der Garantiezeit.Die Garantiezeit verlängert sich nicht, wenn das

Gerät von Topcom oder von einem seiner autorisierten Service Zentren ausgetauscht oder repariert wird.

10.3 GARANTIEAUSSCHLÜSSE

Schäden oder Mängel, die durch unsachgemäße Handhabung oder Betrieb verursacht wurden, sowohl als auch

Defekte, die durch die Verwendung von Nicht-Originalteilen oder die Verwendung von nicht von Topcom empfohlenen

Zubehör entstehen, werden nicht von der Garantie abgedeckt.

Schnurlose Telefone von Topcom wurden so konstruiert, dass sie ausschließlich mit wiederaufladbaren Batterien

funktionieren.Ein durch nicht-wiederaufladbare Batterien verursachter Schaden fällt nicht unter die Garantieleistung.

Die Garantie deckt keine Schäden ab, die durch äußere Einflüsse entstanden sind, wie z.B. Blitzeinschlag, Wasser,

Brände oder auch jegliche Transportschäden.

Wenn die Seriennummer des Gerätes verändert, entfernt oder unleserlich gemacht wurde, kann keine Garantie in

Anspruch genommen werden.

Alle Garantieansprüche erlöschen, wenn das Gerät durch den Käufer oder durch unqualifizierte und nicht offiziell

anerkannte Topcom Service Zentren repariert, verändert oder umgebaut wurde.

INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD

•

Use sólo el conector del cargador suministrado. No utilice otros cargadores para evitar dañar los elementosdela

batería.

Use sólo baterías recargables del mismo tipo, excepto baterías ordinarias (salinas) o no recargables. Instale las

baterías recargables respetando la polaridad (indicada en el compartimiento de baterías del microteléfono).

No toque el cargador ni los contactos con objetos puntiagudos o metálicos.

•

Los teléfonos inalámbricos pueden interferir con el funcionamiento de algunos aparatos médicos.

El microteléfono puede generar un zumbido desagradable en los audífonos para sordos.

No coloque la unidad base en lugares húmedos ni a menos de 1’5 m de una fuente de agua. Proteja el

microteléfono del agua.

•

No use el teléfono en ambientes donde existan riesgo de explosiones.

Deshágase de las baterías y conserve el teléfono de forma respetuosa con el ambiente.

Puesto que los teléfonos inalámbricos no funcionan cuando falla el suministro eléctrico, es recomendable

disponer de un teléfono fijo convencional o móvil para poder realizar llamadas de emergencia en estos casos.

Este teléfono usa baterías recargables. Una vez alcanzado su ciclo máximo de vida,

deberán eliminarse de acuerdo con las normativas medioambientales vigentes.

CONSERVACIÓN

3. INSTALACIÓN

suministra el servicio o para transferir llamadas si el teléfono está conectado a una centralita telefónica. Al pulsarla el

aparato genera una interrupción temporizada de la línea (de 100 ms o 250 ms).

5.10.1 Ajustar el Intervalo de Interrupción

Las llamadas entrantes también se pueden contestar pulsando el botón . Durante el transcurso de la llamada, el

teclado funciona normalmente, pero una vez terminada el teclado volverá a bloquearse.

5.13 AJUSTE DEL MODO DE MARCADO

Hay dos tipos de modo de marcado:

DTMF/Tono de marcado (el más normal) (por defecto)

Marcación por pulso (para instalaciones antiguas)

Para cambiar el modo de marcado:

6. IDENTIFICACIÓN DEL NÚMERO LLAMANTE

El Butler 2920 muestra los números de teléfono de las llamadas entrantes. Esta función sólo está disponible si se ha

solicitado previamente a su compañía telefónica y ésta ofrece dicho servicio. Comuníquese con su operador de

telefonía para más información. Cuando se recibe una llamada, los números se almacenan en una Lista de llamadas

con capacidad para 20 números de teléfono (cada uno compuesto hasta por 25 dígitos). Si un número contiene más

de los 14 dígitos que permite visualizar la pantalla a la vez, examine el resto desplazándolo con la tecla

6.3 LLAMAR A UN NÚMERO DESDE LA LISTA DE LLAMADAS

Desplace la Lista de llamadas hasta que aparezca en la pantalla el número deseado.

Pulse el botón . El número se marcará automáticamente.

6.4 BORRAR UN NÚMERO DE LA LISTA DE LLAMADAS

•

Desplace la Lista de llamadas hasta que aparezca en la pantalla el número deseado.

Pulse y mantenga oprimido el botón (Silencio) durante 3 seg. para borrar el número.

6.5 GUARDAR EN LA MEMORIA UN NÚMERO REGISTRO DE LLAMADAS

•

Desplace la Lista de llamadas hasta que aparezca en la pantalla el número deseado.

Pulse y mantenga oprimido durante 3 segundos el botón (Memoria).

Introduzca la posición de la memoria (0-9) donde desee almacenar el número

Pulse de nuevo el botón para confirmar y regresar al estado de reposo.

7. ASOCIAR / DESASOCIAR UN MICROTELÉFONO

7.1 ASOCIAR UN MICROTELÉFONO A UNA BASE BUTLER 2900/2920

Cada unidad base permite asociar a ella hasta 5 microteléfonos compatibles GAP. De forma predeterminada, cada

microteléfono está asociado a la base como microteléfono 1 (unidad base 1).

Sólo deberá asociar el microteléfono si:

•

El microteléfono se ha desasociado de la base (para reinstalarla, por ejemplo).

Desea asociar un microteléfono diferente a esta unidad base.

El procedimiento anterior sólo aplica al Butler 1000, 1010, 1210, 2405, 2410, 2450, 2455, 3000, 3020 y conjunto

microteléfono/base 3055 o compatibles GAP.

Mantenga oprimida durante 10 segundos la tecla

en la unidad base hasta que el indicador de Línea/Carga en la

unidad base empiece a parpadear rápidamente. Continuará haciéndolo así durante un minuto para permitirle asociar

el microteléfono mediante el siguiente procedimiento:

•

Pulse y mantenga oprimidas a la vez las teclas

La pantalla mostrará lo siguiente:

durante 3 seg.

Introduzca el número de la unidad base a la que desee asociar el microteléfono (1 – 4).

La unidad empezará a intentar localizar la base y cuando la encuentre le solicitará que introduzca el código

PIN (4 dígitos):

•

Introduzca el código del PIN de la base (0000). Si el PIN es incorrecto, entonces el microteléfono

volverá a intentar localizar la base.

Una vez el microteléfono se encuentre registrado, en la pantalla aparecerá ‘HS' seguido del número del

microteléfono.

7.2 DESASOCIAR UN MICROTELÉFONO

Se puede desasociar un microteléfono de una base para sustituirlo por otro microteléfono:

Pulse y mantenga oprimidas juntas durante 3 seg. las teclas

Introduzca el código PIN (0000). Si el PIN es incorrecto, el microteléfono volverá al estado de reposo.

Introduzca el número del microteléfono (1-5) que desee quitar.

Si la operación se ha realizado correctamente, entonces la unidad volverá al estado de reposo; en caso contrario

solicitará que se vuelva a introducir el número del microteléfono

Nota: Antes de poder quitar el microteléfono que tenga en uso deberá desasociar los demás

microteléfonos existentes.

8.TRANSFERENCIA DE LLAMADAS E INTERCOMUNICACIÓN

ENTRE DOS MICROTELÉFONOS

Estas funciones sólo son posibles si existe más de un microteléfono (como en la versión

dúo/twin) registrado con la base.

8.1TRANSFERENCIA DE LLAMADASY LLAMADA ATRES DURANTE UNA LLAMADA EXTERNA

•

Pulse la tecla INT seguida por el número (1 - 5) del otro microteléfono durante la llamada externa.

El timbre del otro microteléfono empezará a sonar:

•

Cuando contesten el otro microteléfono podrá hablar dentro de una llamada interna.

Si cuelga el teléfono, la línea externa se conectará al microteléfono restante.

Si pulsa y mantiene oprimida durante 3 segundos la tecla INT, podrá hablar con el microteléfono 2 y con la

línea externa a la vez (llamada a tres).

O bien pulse de nuevo la tecla INT para retomar la llamada externa.

Para finalizar la llamada pulse el botón

•

8.2. LLAMADA INTERNA (INTERFONO)

•

Con el microteléfono en estado de reposo, pulse la tecla INT seguida por el número (1-5) del otro microteléfono.

El timbre del otro microteléfono empezará a sonar. Para detener el timbre, pulse el botón

Si el interlocutor del otro microteléfono pulsa para contestar la llamada podrán hablar por el circuito interno.

Para finalizar la llamada, pulse el botón

9. FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL TELÉFONO BASE

También puede hacer una llamada de teléfono usando en manos libres el altavoz del teléfono de la estación base.

9.1 HACER UNA LLAMADA

•

Presionar la tecla de marcado de la base en manos libres

Presionar las teclas numéricas de la base para poner el número de teléfono

Presionar otra vez la tecla de marcación en manos libres de la base y terminar la conversación telefónica

para tener línea

9.2 REGULAR DEL VOLUMEN DEL ALTAVOZ

Presionar la tecla ’+’ o ’-’

cuando la base está en una conversación en manos libres para regular el volumen del

altavoz. Si el volumen del altavoz está demasiado alto el altavoz puede empezar a vibrar (tono aflautado). Para evitar

esto, por favor poner el volumen del altavoz más bajo.

Cuidado: La comunicación en manos libres es medio doble lo que signiﬁca que si la persona que está al

otro lado de la línea empieza a hablar, el micrófono se pone en silencio, por lo tanto la otra persona no

puede oírle en ese momento. Por favor intente evitar hablar los dos a la vez.

9.3 AJUSTAR EL MODO DE MARCADO PARA LA BASE

Puede ajustar el modo de marcado de la base en Pulso(P) o Tono/DTMF(T) por medio del interruptor de la parte inferior

de la base.

Cuidado: El modo de marcado de la base es independiente del microteléfono.

Para ajustar el modo de marcado del microteléfono por favor mirar en §5.13.

9.4 PASAR UNA LLAMADA DE LA BASE AL MICROTELÉFONO

Durante una conversación en manos libres en la base puede pasar la llamada a cualquier microteléfono

presionando la tecla de búsqueda . El LED indicador de línea

•

empezará a parpadear.

Puede coger la línea en cualquier microteléfono registrado cuando presione la tecla de línea

O presione la tecla de búsqueda otra vez si no quiere pasar la llamada

Nota: ¡¡Los microteléfonos no sonarán mientras se pasa la llamada!!

9.5 AJUSTE DEL TIEMPO DE DESTELLO DE LA BASE

Puede ajustar el tiempo de destello de la base por medio del interruptor de la parte inferior de la base. Puede ajustarlo

en 100ms o 300ms.

Nota: El tiempo de destello de la base es distinto del tiempo de destello del microteléfono Para ajustar el

tiempo de destello del microteléfono, por favor consultar §5.10.1.

10. GARANTIA TOPCOM

1. PERIODO DE GARANTÍA

Las unidades Topcom tienen un periodo de garantía de 24 meses. El periodo de garantía empieza el día que se

compra la unidad nueva. La garantía en las baterías está limitada a 6 meses desde la compra. Los Consumibles o

defectos que tienen un efecto insignificante para el funcionamiento o valor del equipo no están cubiertos.

La garantía se tiene que probar presentando el recibo original de compra, en el que se indique la fecha de compra y

el modelo del aparato.

2.TRATAMIENTO DE LA GARANTÍA

La unidad defectuosa hay que devolverla al centro de reparación de Topcom incluyendo una nota de compra válida.

Si el aparato desarrolla un fallo durante el periodo de garantía, Topcom o su centro de reparación designado

oficialmente repararan cualquier defecto causado por fallos materiales o de fabricación gratis.

Topcom satisfará a su discreción sus obligaciones de garantía reparando o cambiando las unidades o piezas de la

unidades defectuosas. En caso de cambio, el color y modelo pueden ser diferentes de la unidad original comprada.

La fecha de compra inicial determinará el comienzo del periodo de garantía. No se ampliará el periodo de garantía si

se cambia o repara la unidad por Topcom o sus centros de reparación designados.

3. EXCLUSIONES DE LA GARANTÍA

Los daños o defectos causados por tratamiento o utilización incorrectos y los daños resultantes del uso de piezas o

accesorios no originales no recomendados por Topcom no están cubiertos por la garantía.

Los teléfonos inalámbricos de Topcom están diseñados para funcionar solo con baterías recargables. El daño causado

por el uso de baterías no recargables no está cubierto por la garantía.

La garantía no cubre los daños causados por factores externos, como rayos, agua y fuego, ni los daños causados

durante el transporte.

No se podrá reclamar la garantía si se ha cambiado, quitado o si ha quedado ilegible el número de serie de las

unidades.

Cualquier reclamación de la garantía se invalidará si la unidad ha sido reparado, alterado o modificado por el

comprador o por centros de reparación no cualificados o no designados oficialmente por Topcom.
