ê ñåðâåðó ïå÷àòè.
1. Ïðèñîåäèíèòå ñåòåâîé êàáåëü
RJ-45 îò êîììóòàòîðà/
ìàðøðóòèçàòîðà ê ïîðòó LAN
ñåðâåðà ïå÷àòè.
2. Ïðèñîåäèíèòå îòäåëÿåìóþ
àíòåííó.
3. Ïðèñîåäèíèòå USB-ïðèíòåð ê
USB-ïîðòó ñåðâåðà ïå÷àòè.
4. Ïîäêëþ÷èòå àäàïòåð ïèòàíèÿ ê
ñåðâåðó ïå÷àòè è çàòåì ê ñåòåâîé
ðîçåòêå.
5. Âêëþ÷èòå ïèòàíèå êîìïüþòåðà.

3. Íàñòðîéòå êîíôèãóðàöèþ ñåðâåðà ïå÷àòè
Ïðèìå÷àíèå: Ñåðâåð ïå÷àòè óïðàâëÿåòñÿ ñëóæåáíîé ïðîãðàììîé ñåðâåðà
ïå÷àòè èëè ñ ïîìîùüþ âåá-áðàóçåðà. Ïîëüçîâàòåëè MAC äîëæíû
èçìåíèòü IP-àäðåñ ñâîèõ êîìïüþòåðîâ íà 192.168.0.X (ãäå X – èìåþùååñÿ
÷èñëî îò 2 äî 254). Ïîñêîëüêó ó ïðèíò-ñåðâåðà IP-àäðåñ ïî óìîë÷àíèþ -
192.168.0.1, íóæíî óáåäèòüñÿ â òîì, ÷òî îí íå ïðèñâîåí äðóãèì ñåòåâûì
ïîëó÷èòü äîñòóï ê ñëóæåáíîé ïðîãðàììå ñåðâåðà ïå÷àòè ÷åðåç Èíòåðíåò.
Ïîëüçîâàòåëÿì Windows
1. Óñòàíîâèòå CD-ROM-äèñê ñî
ñëóæåáíîé ïðîãðàììîé â
äèñêîâîä CD-ROM êîìïüþòåðà è
âûáåðèòå Install Utility.
2. Ñëåäóéòå óêàçàíèÿì Ìàñòåðà
InstallShield.
3. Âûáåðèòå Ïóñê Âñå ïðîãðàììû
PS-Utility, çàòåì ùåëêíèòå ïî PS-
Utility.

4. Ùåëêíèòå ïî ñåðâåðó ïå÷àòè è
çàòåì ïî êíîïêå èçìåíåíèÿ IP-
àäðåñà (Change IP Address).
Âðó÷íóþ çàäàéòå IP-àäðåñ
ñåðâåðà ïå÷àòè è ùåëêíèòå ïî
êíîïêå ÎÊ.
Ïðèìå÷àíèå: IP-àäðåñ äîëæåí
ñîâïàäàòü ñ òåì æå ñåãìåíòîì
ñåòè, ÷òî è ó âàøåãî êîìïüþòåðà.
5. Ùåëêíèòå ïî êíîïêå OK.
6. Ùåë÷êîì âûáåðèòå Show Web
Setup.
7. Íàéäèòå è çàïèøèòå äëÿ ñåáÿ
èìåíà: Server Name è Printer
Name.

8. Âûáåðèòå Configuration, çàòåì
Wireless. Âûáåðèòå íóæíûé
èäåíòèôèêàòîð SSID è ùåëêíèòå
ïî êíîïêå Save.
Íàñòðîéêà êîíôèãóðàöèè ñåðâåðà ïå÷àòè çàâåðøåíà.

4. Äîáàâëåíèå â êîìïüþòåð ñåòåâîãî ïðèíòåðà
Ïðèìå÷àíèå: Äëÿ ïîëó÷åíèÿ óêàçàíèé ïî TCP/IP-ïå÷àòè âîñïîëüçóéòåñü
ðóêîâîäñòâîì ïîëüçîâàòåëÿ íà CD-ROM-äèñêå ñî ñëóæåáíîé ïðîãðàììîé
èç êîìïëåêòà.
Windows 2000/XP
1. Ïåðåéäèòå ê Ïàíåëè
óïðàâëåíèÿ è äâîéíûì ùåë÷êîì
âûáåðèòå Ïðèíòåðû è ôàêñû.
2. Âûáåðèòå Äîáàâèòü ïðèíòåð è
ùåëêíèòå ïî êíîïêå Äàëåå.
3. Âûáåðèòå Network Printer è
ùåëêíèòå ïî êíîïêå Äàëåå
(Next).
4. Âûáåðèòå Ïîäêëþ÷èòüñÿ ê
ýòîìó ïðèíòåðó è ââåäèòå èìÿ
ñåðâåðà è èìÿ ïðèíòåðà â
ñëåäóþùåì ôîðìàòå:
\\server_name\printer_name
Ùåëêíèòå ïî êíîïêå Äàëåå.

5. Ùåëêíèòå ïî êíîïêå OK.
6. Âûáåðèòå ñîîòâåòñòâóþùèé
äðàéâåð äëÿ ïðèíòåðà è
ùåëêíèòå ïî êíîïêå OK.
7. Âûáåðèòå Äà è ùåëêíèòå ïî
êíîïêå Äàëåå.
8. Ùåëêíèòå ïî êíîïêå Çàâåðøèòü
(Finish).
9. Ïîâòîðÿéòå ýòàïû ñ 1 ïî 8 äëÿ
äîáàâëåíèÿ ïðèíòåðà íà äðóãèõ
ÏÊ.
Ïðîöåäóðà äîáàâëåíèÿ ñåòåâîãî ïðèíòåðà çàâåðøåíà.

Troubleshooting
Q1. I correctly typed in the print server name and printer name, but I still cannot add a network
printer. What should I do?
A1. Double check your hardware connections; make sure that the print server and printer are
powered ON and are properly connected. Also verify that the spelling of the server name and
printer name are correct.
Q2. I verified that the hardware installation is correct and that the print server name and printer
name are correct, but I still cannot find the network printer. What should I do?
A2. Make sure that the print server name and printer name are entered correctly. There should be
no spaces, and the back slashes that separate the print server name and printer name should be
this, \\, instead of this, //.
Q3. I successfully added a network printer to my computer and I can print a test page, but I cannot
print anything from Microsoft Word or other applications.
A3. Make sure to set the newly installed network printer as your default printer. Click Start and
then click Printers & Faxes, verify that your printer icon has a check on it.
Q4. I configured my print server to automatically receive an IP Address from a DHCP server, and
now I cannot go into the print server's web utility.
A4. Open PS-Utility v3.00 (See 3. Configure the Print Server) to locate your print server's IP
Address. For Mac users, press the Reset button at the back of the TEW-P1UG, hold the button for
utility features.
Q5. After I successfully configured the TEW-P1UG to match my wireless network settings, I can
not print through the Print Server.
A5. First, verify that the wireless settings match your wireless network settings. Second, verify that
the antenna is attached to the Print Server and the WLAN LED on the Print Server is lit.
If you still encounter problems or have any questions regarding the TEW-P1UG, please refer to the User’s
Guide included on the Utility CD-ROM or contact TRENDnet’s Technical Support Department.
