Quantum Toaster Functions
Cancel button
Toasting one or two pieces in your Quantum
The Cancel button immediately stops any of
the toasting cycles. As a consequence of this
the toast will pop up.
Thick & Thin 4
Position the bread in the middle of either of
the bread slots. When toasting two pieces,
position one piece in the centre of each
bread slot.
Defrost setting
To toast frozen bread, place your bread into
the slot, turn the Electronic Browning Control
to the Defrost setting and push the Lever
down to start the toasting cycle. This setting
extends the toasting time to allow for the
defrosting of the bread before toasting.
Toasting muffins or bagels
Ensure muffins or bagels are cut into even
halves and fit freely into the bread slot.
Do not force them into the toaster. If your
bread jams in the toaster, switch the power
off, remove the plug and ease the
High lift lever
bread out of the toaster.
When toasting small pieces of bread or
crumpets and muffins we recommend using
the High Lift Lever to prevent burning your
fingers.
WARNING: Never attempt to extract jammed
toast, muffins, bagels or crumpets with a knife
or any other metal object, as contact with the
live element may cause electrocution.

Care and Cleaning
Always switch the power off and remove the
plug before cleaning your toaster. Wipe the
outside with a slightly dampened cloth and
wipe dry.
Clean the crumb tray regularly. Do not
allow crumbs to accumulate, as they will
accumulate and may cause a potential fire
hazard.
For stubborn dirt, wipe with a cloth
dampened with a mild detergent.
We recommend cleaning the inside of
your toaster fortnightly. Simply unplug the
appliance, turn it upside down and shake
all the crumbs out.
Emptying the Removable Crumb Tray
To remove the crumbs, simply slide out the
tray, empty and place it back in the toaster
