18. To reduce the risk of fire in the oven cavity:
i) Do not overcook food. Carefully attend appliance if paper, plastic, or other combustible materials
are placed inside the oven to facilitate cooking.
ii) Remove wire twist-ties from paper or plastic bags before placing bag in oven.
iii) If materials inside the oven should ignite, keep oven door closed, turn oven off, and disconnect
the power cord, or shut off at the fuse or circuit breaker panel.
iv) Do not use the cavity for storage purposes. Do not leave paper products, cooking utensils, or
food in the cavity when not in use.
19.Liquid, such as water, coffee, or tea are able to be overheated beyond the boiling point without
appearing to be boiling. Visible bubbling or boiling when the container is VERY HOT LIQUIDS
SUDDENLY BOILING OVER WHEN THE CONTAINER IS DISTURBED OR A UTENSIL IS INSERTED
INTO THE LIQUID.

PRECAUTIONS TO AVOID POSSIBLE EXPOSURE TO
EXCESSIVE MICROWAVE ENERGY
a) Do not atempt to operate this oven with the door open since open-door operation can result
in harmful exposure to microwave energy.
It is important not to defeat or tamper with the safety interlocks.
b) Do not place any object between the oven front face and the door or allow soil or cleaner residue
to accumulate on sealing surfaces.
c) Do not operate the oven if it is damaged. It is particularly important that the oven door close
properly and that there is no damage to the: (1) door(bent), (2) hinges and latches (broken or
loosened), (3) door seals and sealing surfaces.
d) The oven should not be adjusted or repaired by anyone except qualified service personnel.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. In the event of an electrical short circuit, grounding reduces the
risk of electric shock by providing an escape wire for the electrical current. This appliance is
equipped with a cord having a grounding wire with a grounding plug. The plug must be plugged into
an outlet that is properly installed and grounded.
WARNING - IMPROPER USE OF THE GROUNDING CAN RESULT IN A RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK.
Consult a qualified electrician or serviceman if the grounding instructions are not completely
understood, or it doubt exists as to whether the appliance is properly grounded, and either;
1) If it is necessary to use an extension cord, use only a 3 wire extension cord that has a 3-blade
grounding plug, and a 3-socket receptacle that will accept the plug on the appliance. The marked
rating of the extension cord shall be equal to or greater than the electrical rating of the appliance, or
2) Do not use an extension cord. If the power supply cord is too short, have a qualified electrician or
serviceman install an outlet near the appliance.

- shield thin end of chops or steaks with foil.

defrosted portions.

Minced Beef
- Place frozenminced beef on a shallow dish. Shield edges.
- when theoven Beeps, itis to prompt you to turnover the food. Remove defrosted portions,turnover and
shield edges with foil strips.
- Press instant.start to continue defrosting.
- After defrost time, stand covered with aluminium foil for 5-15minutes.
Roast Meat (Beef/pork/lamb)

- Place joint with lean side face upwards (ifpossible) on a shallow dish.

- After defrost time, stand covered with aluminium foil for 15-30 minutes.
Note: After standing run under cold water to remove giblets if necessary.

Microwave cooking tips
1) Arrange food carefully, place thickest areas toward outsideof dish.
2) Watch cooking time, cook for the shortestamount of time indicated and add more time as needed.
3) Cover foodsbefore cooking
check recipe for suggestions: paper towels, microwave plastic wrap or a lid.Covers prevent spattering andhelp foods to cook
evenly. (Helps keep oven clean).
4) Shield foods
Use small pieces of aluinium foil to cover thin areas of meats or poultry toavoid overcooking.
5) Stir foods:Fromoutside to center of dish once or twice duringcooking, if possible.
6) Turn foods:Foods such as chicken, hamburgers or steaks should be turned over onceduring cooking.
7) Rearrange foods:Like meatballs halfway through cooking bothfrom top tobottom and fromthe center ofthe dish to the outside.
8) Allow standing time
After cooking ensure adequate standingtime.Remove food from oven and stir if possible.
Cover for standingtime which allows the food tofinish cooking without overcooking.
8) Check fordoneness
Look for signs indicating that cooking temperature has beenreached. Doneness signs include:
-Food steams throughout, not just at edge.
-Poultry thigh joints move easily.
-Pork and poultryshow no pinkness..
-Fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
9) Condensation
A normal part ofmicrowave cooking. The humidity and moisture in food will influence the amount of moisture in the oven. Generally
, covered foods will not cause as much condensation as uncovered foods. Ensure that theventilation openings are not blocked.
10) Browning dish
when using abrowning dish, always place a heat-resistant insulator such as a porcelain plate under it toprevent damage tothe
turntable, rotating ringdue to heatstress. The preheating time specified in the dishes instructions must not be exceeded.
11) Microwave safe plastic wrap
for cooking food with high fatcontent, do notbring the wrapin contact with the food asit may melt.
12) Microwave safe plastic cookware
Some microwave safe plastic cookware are not suitable for cooking foods with high fat andsugar content.
Cleaning and maintenance
Disconnect the powersupply cord before cleaning. And if possible leave the dooropen to inactivate the oven duringcleaning.
Exterior:
The outside may be cleaned withmild soap and warm water, wipe clean witha damp cloth. Avoid theuse of harshabrasive cleaners.
Door:
Wipe the doorand window onboth sides, the door seals and adjacent parts frequently with a dampcloth to remove any spills or
spatters. Do notuse abrasive cleaners.
Control panel:
Care should betaken in cleaning the control panel. Wipe the panelwith a clothdampened slightly with water only.Do not scrubor use
any sort of chemical cleaners. Avoid the use of excess water.
Interior walls:
To clean the interior surfaces, wipe witha soft cloth and warm waterfor hygienic reasons. After usewipe the waveguide cover
in the oven with a softdamp cloth to remove any food splashed. Buildup splashes may overheat and begin to smoke or catch fire.
Do not removethe waveguide cover. Do notuse a commercial oven cleaner, abrasive or harsh cleaners and scouring pads on any
part of yourmicrowave oven. Never spray oven cleaners directly onto any part of youroven.Avoid using excess water. After cleaning
the oven, ensureany water is removed with asoft cloth.
Turntable/ Rotating ring/Rotating axis
Wash with mild soapy water and dry thoroughly.
TIP: When the microwave oven has been used for a long time, there may be some strange odors exist in
oven, Following 3 methods can get rid of them :
1. Place several lemon slices in a cup, then heat with high power for 2-3min.
2. place a cup of red tea in oven, then heat withhigh power.
3. Put some orange peel into oven, then heat them with high power for 1minute.
Servicing
Warning: it is hazardous foranyone, other thana qualified servicetechnician, to carryout any servicefor repairing
operation which involvesremoval of anycover which givesprotection against exposureto microwave energy.
