Before You Start

Power Up the Device  
Wirelessly Connect Your Computer  
Install the Battery  
After it’s activated, you’ll need to set up your admin account.  
Briefly press the Power button on top of the device.  
1. While pressing the release buttton, remove the back cover.  
(There are tabs on either side of the cover to facilitate this.)  
1. From your computer, display the Wireless Network  
The first time you turn on your device, it will automatically

your Web browser go to the Admin main menu screen at  
http://mifi.mlp. Click System > Software Update, and then  
click Check Now in the Network Update section of the screen.
