BASIC ASSEMBLY
To properly assemble this heater you need the supplied assembly wrench and Allen wrench (or one of your
own). Refer to the parts diagram on page 5 while assembling the heater.
PLEASE NOTE: The design of the base in the images below will slightly differ from the base provided with
the heater.
1) First, attach the base pole (D) to the weighted base (B) using the 3 base bolts (F) and 3 nuts (G). Once you
secure the base pole (D) to the weighted base (B), place the decorative cone (C) over the base pole (D) to
cover the bolts on the base.
2) Next, place the power cord attached to the heater head (A) through the middle of the base pole (D). Pull
the power cord through the bottom of the base as far as it will go.
3) Next, connect the heater head to the base pole. To do this, align the small screw holes on top of the base
pole (D) with the holes on the bottom of the heater head (A). Use the small heater head connector screws
(E) to secure the heater head (A) to the base pole (D).

BASIC ASSEMBLY (CONTINUED)
4) Before using the heater, align the power cord with the cutout on the weighted base and secure using the
attached fasteners on the bottom of the weighted base. There is one fastener located near the middle of the
weighted base, and another fastener located near the cutout at the end of the base. Place the cord through
each fastener and tighten to secure the cord to the base. After securing the power cord to the fasteners,
place the rubber ring located around the power cord in the cutout on the weighted base. Properly attaching
the power cord to the weighted bases will allow the heater to be moved easily and prevent damage to the
power cord.

MAINTENANCE
Unplug the unit and let it cool completely.
To keep the heater clean, the outer shell may be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. You may use a
mild detergent if necessary. After cleaning, dry the unit with a soft cloth.
DO NOT use alcohol, gasoline, abrasive powders, furniture polish, or rough brushes to clean the
heater. This may cause damage or deterioration to the surface of the heater.
Although this heater is outdoor approved, DO NOT immerse the heater in water for your safety.
Wait until the unit is completely dry before use.
WHEN THE HEATER IS NOT IN USE
When not using the heater for an extended period of time, place the electrical cord inside the decorative cone
that covers the bottom part of the pole. To do so, simply lift the cone and wrap the electrical cord around the
bottom pole. When the cord is completely wrapped around the pole, slide the cone back down covering the
cord and bottom of the pole.
STORAGE
If the heater will not be used for a long period of time, store it in a cool, dry location when not in use. To
prevent dust and dirt build-up, use the original packaging to repack the unit.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the heater will not operate, please check the following before seeking repair of service:
Check if the power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet, if not, plug in.
Check if electricity to the main fuse is working.
Make certain the power switches are turned on. If not, choose a setting.
