Additionally, in order to feel assured that you have gained a good grasp of every feature provided by

Main Features

The MOBILE CUBE is a portable, compact, battery-powered multi-purpose stereo amp that’s easy

to use anywhere and anytime.

Easily portable stereo mobile amp with 5 W of output power

A compact stereo amp with two newly developed 10 cm (4 inch) speakers and 5 W (2.5 W + 2.5 W)

of output power.

Since the MOBILE CUBE can operate for approximately fifteen hours on six AA alkaline batteries,

you can use it anywhere.

A multi-purpose amp that accepts three types of input

Multi-purpose input for keyboard, recorder, or guitar

AUX input for CD/ MP3 player or the audio output of your PC

By combining these three inputs, the MOBILE CUBE will meet the needs of a wide range of

Internal effects processor provides reverb / delay and chorus

You can easily apply a high-quality effect with just a single knob or button. The chorus is of

a stereo design that generates a spatially synthesized chorus effect, producing a spacious feel.

Center Cancel function lets you eliminate the vocal or guitar solo from the playback of

a music CD

With a single button you can enjoy using a music CD or other audio source from the AUX IN

input as a “minus-one” song for karaoke or practicing your instrument.

Can be attached to a microphone stand

You can mount the MOBILE CUBE on a commercially available microphone stand, and use it as

a monitor or simple PA that can be placed just where you need it.

Power Supply: Use of Batteries

When moved from one location to another where the

unit. Damage or malfunction may result if you

attempt to use the unit in this condition. Therefore,

before using the unit, you must allow it to stand for

several hours, until the condensation has completely

evaporated.

Placement

Getting ready to use

Inserting Batteries

Attaching the Strap

The MOBILE CUBE can also be powered with six

AA batteries. Insert the batteries as shown in the

figure, making sure that the batteries are oriented

correctly.

1. Pass the strap through the strap holder.

Use only manganese or alkaline batteries.

When closing the lid of the battery compartment, first

insert the catches on the lid into the matching

cavities, then push the lid down firmly until you hear

a click

2. Secure the strap to the strap pin.

Attach the strap securely so that it does not easily

become detached. If the strap is loose, and you use

it that way when carrying the MOBILE CUBE, the

amp could be dropped, possibly resulting in

damage or injury.

Using Batteries

Please note the following points.

If there are batteries in the unit while an AC adaptor

is being used, normal operation will continue should

the line voltage be interrupted (power cord

disconnection).

When installing or replacing batteries, always turn

off the power on this unit and disconnect any other

devices you may have connected. This way, you can

prevent malfunction and/or damage to speakers or

other devices.

Expected battery life under continuous use:

Alkaline: approx. 15 hours

Use only the provided strap.

The included strap is meant for exclusive use with the

MOBILE CUBE. Do not use this strap for other

products.

Do not spin or swing the MOBILE CUBE while

holding it by the strap. This is extremely dangerous,

as it may cause the strap to become detached; or, if the

motion is repeated enough, may even break the strap.

This figure will vary depending on the actual

conditions of use.

When operating on battery power only, the unit’s

indicator will become dim when battery power gets

too low. Replace the battery as soon as possible.

Avoid using new batteries together with used ones. In

KEYBOARD/INSTRUMENT

MIC

This is a dedicated microphone input.

It can be used simultaneously with

KEYBOARD/ INSTRUMENT/ GUITAR

and AUX.

Select this if you’ve connected an

instrument such as a keyboard or a guitar

multi-effects device. You can choose either

a NORMAL or FAT tone.

1. VOLUME Knob

NORMAL

This provides flat tonal response.

Adjusts the microphones volume.

FAT

Howling could be produced depending on the location of

microphones relative to speakers. This can be remedied

by:

AUDIO (stereo input is supported)

Select this if you’ve connected an audio

device, a recorder, or a mixer. This is ideal

E-GUITAR

KEYBOARD/INSTRUMENT/GUITAR

Select this if you’ve connected an electric

guitar. Three types of sound are available:

CLEAN, OVERDRIVE, and DIST

(distortion). Use the L/ MONO GUITAR

jack to make the connection. The R jack

cannot be used.

This accommodates any type of input,

including a keyboard or other electronic

musical instrument, a recorder or audio

device, or an acoustic guitar or electric

guitar.

2. Type Switch

CLEAN

This provides a bright, clear sound.

Set this to the type of device that you’ve

connected to the KEYBOARD/ INST jack.

OVERDRIVE

Natural distortion sound similar to that

obtained by turning an amp’s volume up

completely.

A-GUITAR

Select this if you’ve connected an acoustic

guitar that has a pickup

DIST (DISTORTION)

Harder distortion than OVERDRIVE.

Use the L/ MONO GUITAR jack to make

connections. The R jack cannot be used.

7. DELAY/REVERB Knob

Turn this knob to DELAY or REVERB to

switch to that effect. Turn the knob to adjust

the amount of effect applied.

This adjusts the volume of the device

connected to the Keyboard/ Instrument/

Guitar input jack(s).

DELAY

4. CHORUS Switch

Turn the knob to change the time and amount

of delay effects.

Pressing the CHORUS switch will turn on the

chorus effect.

What’s DELAY

The MOBILE CUBE’s chorus effect is

a spatially synthesized chorus that takes

advantage of stereo playback to generate

an expansive sensation.

A delay is a little bit like an echo, and by

repeating the original sound after it is played,

this effect can add a sense of spaciousness

and depth to the sound. In addition, when

this effect is applied to instruments that play

melodies, it can make their performance

sound smoother or can add an extra bounce

to their rhythm.

What’s spatially synthesized chorus

With spatially synthesized chorus,

a method available only in stereo, the

chorus effect is created by taking the

sound from the right speaker (from which

the effect sound is output), and the sound

from the left speaker (which outputs the

direct sound), and then mixing them in the

actual space. This creates a greater lateral

spread than that produced when the

sounds are mixed electronically,

REVERB (Stereo REVERB)

Spacious-sounding stereo reverb is provided.

Turn the knob to adjust the reverb level.

What’s REVERB

By adding reverberation to a sound, this

effect imbues the sound with a sense of

spaciousness and depth.

8. Power Indicator

AUX

This indicator lights when the unit is turned on.

When operating on battery power only, the unit’s indicator

will become dim during play when battery power gets too

low.

5. CENTER CANCEL Switch

Pressing the CENTER CANCEL switch will

eliminate sounds (such as vocals or guitar

solos) located in the center of the stereo

source from the music CD or other device

connected to AUX IN. This is convenient

when you want to use the source for karaoke

or for guitar practice.

Sounds may distort easily or may cut off when played at

high volume as the battery power begins to fade, but this is

normal and does not indicate a malfunction.

In such instances, either replace the batteries or use the AC

adaptor (sold separately).

For some stereo sources, it may not be possible to obtain

a sufficient cancellation effect.

TONE and DELAY/REVERB

The effect applies only to the device connected to MIC and

to the KEYBOARD/ INSTRUMENT/ GUITAR input

jacks.

6. TONE Knob

This adjusts the tone. Turn the knob

clockwise for a brighter tone; to get a milder

tone, turn the knob counterclockwise.

No sound is played through the unit’s speaker while the

PHONES jack is in use.

Use only the PSB-series AC adaptor. Use of other AC

adaptors may damage the amp or result in other

problems.

Place the AC adaptor so the side with the indicator (see

illustration) faces upwards and the side with textual

information faces downwards.The indicator will light

when you plug the AC adaptor into an AC outlet.

This unit is equipped with a protection circuit. A brief

interval (a few seconds) after power up is required before the

unit will operate normally.

Even with the volume all the way down, you may still hear

some sound when the power is switched on, but this is

normal, and does not indicate a malfunction.

Depending on the knob settings, the volume at first may be

too high when the power is turned on. Always be sure to

turn down the volume before switching on the power.

Depending on the circumstances of

a particular setup, you may experience

a discomforting sensation, or perceive that

the surface feels gritty to the touch when

you touch this device, microphones

connected to it, or the metal portions of other

objects, such as guitars. This is due to an

infinitesimal electrical charge, which is

absolutely harmless. However, if you are

concerned about this, connect the ground

terminal (see figure) with an external ground.

When the unit is grounded, a slight hum may

occur, depending on the particulars of your

installation. If you are unsure of the

4. Adjust the volume levels for the devices.

Once the connections have been completed, turn on power

to your various devices in the order specified. By turning on

devices in the wrong order, you risk causing malfunction

and/or damage to speakers and other devices.

volume on each of the devices in your

system and then TURN OFF the devices in

the reverse order to which they were

switched on.

Using a Microphone Stand

By using a microphone stand, you can mount the

MOBILE CUBE at the optimal height for use as

a monitor speaker or simple PA device.

Requirements when using

a microphone stand

As shown in the illustration below, you must use

a microphone stand that will be no higher than

125 cm (including the MOBILE CUBE), and

whose legs can be opened to a maximum width of

63 cm or more.

The microphone stand holder supports

a diameter of either 3/8 inch or 5/8 inch.

If you’re using the MOBILE CUBE with a 5/8

inch microphone stand, remove the microphone

stand adaptor from the bottom of the unit.

If you’re not using a microphone stand, be sure to attach the

microphone stand adaptor to prevent leakage of sound (air).

Using a microphone stand that does not meet the

specifications above may result in damage to equipment or

injury due to the stand tipping over.

When using MOBILE CUBE with a microphone stand, the

microphone stand must be carefully placed so it is level and

sure to remain stable.

Cables connected to MOBILE CUBE should be given

enough slack to prevent accidents that might result from

someone tripping over them.

To prevent accidents due to falls, do not place any object on

the MOBILE CUBE when it’s mounted on a microphone

stand.

When turning the unit upside-down, get a bunch of

newspapers or magazines, and place them under the four

corners or at both ends to prevent damage to the buttons

and controls. Also, you should try to orient the unit so no

buttons or controls get damaged.

When turning the unit upside-down, handle with care to

avoid dropping it, or allowing it to fall or tip over.

After attaching the MOBILE CUBE to the microphone

stand, check to make sure that it is stable before you use it.

Verwenden des Netzadapters

Einlegen der Batterien

Der MOBILE CUBE kann auch mit sechs

Natürlich verzerrter Sound ähnlich dem,

der entsteht, wenn die Lautstärke eines

Amps voll aufgedreht wird.

Der Effekt wird nur auf Signale angewendet, die an

der Buchse MIC und den Buchse(n) KEYBOARD/

INST anliegen.

DIST (DISTORTION)

Stärkere Verzerrung als OVERDRIVE.

6. Regler TONE

Dieser stellt den Klang ein. Drehen Sie den

Regler im Uhrzeigersinn für einen helleren

Klang und gegen den Uhrzeigersinn für

einen weicheren Klang.

3. Regler VOLUME

Hier stellen Sie die Lautstärke für das/

die an der/den Buchse(n) für Keyboard,

Instrument bzw. Gitarre

ein räumlich synthetisierter Chorus, der

die Eigenschaften eines Stereosignals für die

Erzeugung eines größeren Raumgefühls nutzt.

DELAY

Drehen Sie den Regler, um die Dauer und

die Stärke der Delay-Effekte einzustellen.

Was ist DELAY?

Was ist ein räumlich synthetisierter

Chorus?

Ein Delay (Verzögerung) kann mit einem

Echoeffekt verglichen werden. Durch

verzögerte Wiederholung des Originalklangs

kann dieser Effekt dem Sound mehr

Räumlichkeit und Tiefe verleihen. Wenn dieser

Effekt auf Melodieinstrumente angewendet

wird, erklingt das Melodiespiel weicher oder

es entsteht ein rhythmischer Echoeffekt.

Beim räumlich erzeugten Chorus, einer

nur in Stereo verfügbaren Methode, wird

der Chorus-Effekt erzeugt, indem der Klang

vom rechten Kanal (von dem der Effektklang

ausgegeben wird) und der Klang vom linken

Kanal (der den direkten Klang ausgibt)

verarbeitetundimRaumselbstgemischtwird.

Dadurch entsteht eine größere seitliche

Streuung, als wenn die Klänge elektronisch

gemischt werden, was einen natürlicheren

Eindruck von Breite hervorruft.

REVERB (Stereohall)

Dies ist ein räumlich klingender Stereohall.

Drehen Sie den Regler, um den Hallanteil

einzustellen.

Was ist REVERB?

AUX

Wenn Sie einem Klang Nachhall

hinzumischen, erhält er eine Position in

einem künstlichen Raum und klingt somit

tiefer und räumlicher.

5. Schalter CENTER CANCEL

Wenn Sie den Schalter CENTER CANCEL

drücken, werden die Sounds, die sich in

der Mitte des Stereosignals von der Musik-

CD oder von einer anderen an der AUX-IN-

Buchse angeschlossenen Signalquelle

befinden (wie z. B. der Gesang oder ein

Gitarrensolo), unterdrückt (ausgelöscht).

Je nach den Umständen von Aufstellung

und Anschluss kann es vorkommen, dass

Sie beim Berühren von Metalloberflächen

dieses Geräts oder angeschlossener

Mikrofone oder Gitarren ein etwas

unangenehmes „Stromgefühl“ wahrnehmen.

Dies entsteht durch eine minimale elektrische

Ladung, die vollkommen harmlos ist. Falls

es Sie trotzdem beunruhigt, verbinden Sie

den Erdungsanschluss (siehe Abbildung)

mit einer externen Masse. Wenn das Gerät

geerdet ist, kann je nach den Umständen

von Aufstellung und Anschluss ein leichtes

Brummen auftreten. Wenn Sie sich bezüglich

der Anschlussmethode nicht sicher sind,

wenden Sie sich an ein Roland Service

Center in Ihrer Nähe oder an einen der

autorisierten Roland-Vertriebspartner, die

auf der Seite „Information“ aufgelistet sind.

Aufgrund von Störungen durch externe Geräte oder

die belegte Netzsteckdose kann von diesem Gerät ein

hörbares Störgeräusch ausgehen. Durch Verbindung

des Erdungsanschlusses mit einer externen Masse

kann man solche Geräusche reduzieren.

9. Batteriefach

Legen Sie sechs Batterien der Größe AA ein.

Lesen Sie „Einlegen der Batterien“ (S. 13).

Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Mangan- oder Alkali-

Batterien (LR6). Sie können keine anderen Batterien

verwenden.

Der Einsatz von Alkali-Batterien wird empfohlen,

da der Stromverbrauch des Gerätes relativ hoch ist.

Ein- und ausschalten

Sobald Sie alle Anschlüsse vorgenommen haben, schalten

Sie alle beteiligten Geräte in der angegebenen Reihenfolge

ein. Wenn Sie die Geräte in der falschen Reihenfolge

Verwenden eines Mikrofonständers

Mit Hilfe eines Mikrofonständers können Sie

den MOBILE CUBE für den Gebrauch als aktiver

Monitorlautsprecher oder einfache PA-Anlage

in optimaler Höhe betreiben.

Die Halterung für Mikrofonständer unterstützt

Gewindedurchmesser von 3/8 Zoll und 5/8 Zoll.

Wenn Sie den MOBILE CUBE mit einem

Mikrofonständer mit 5/8-Zoll-Gewinde

verwenden, entfernen Sie den Adapter

aus dem Gewinde unten am Gerät.

Anforderungen für den Einsatz auf

einem Mikrofonständer

Wie in der folgenden Abbildung gezeigt dürfen

Sie nur einen Mikrofonständer verwenden,

der insgesamt (einschließlich MOBILE CUBE)

Sie den Mikrofonständer-Adapter in jedem Fall wieder

Insertion des piles

Le MOBILE CUBE peut également être alimenté

à l'aide de six piles LR06 (legal for Europe).

Insérez les piles comme illustré dans la figure,

OVERDRIVE

Son de distorsion naturelle semblable

à celui obtenu en tournant complètement

le bouton de volume d'un amplificateur.

6. Bouton TONE

Permet de régler le timbre. Tournez le bouton

dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre pour

obtenir un son plus clair ; tournez le bouton

dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d'une

montre pour obtenir un son plus doux.

DIST (DISTORSION)

Distorsion plus forte que celle obtenue

avec le son OVERDRIVE.

3. Bouton VOLUME

Permet de régler le volume de l'appareil

connecté à la (aux) prise(s) Input

Keyboard / Instrument / Guitar.

7. Bouton DELAY/REVERB

Tournez ce bouton sur DELAY ou REVERB

pour obtenir l’effet voulu. Tournez le bouton

pour régler la quantité d’effet souhaitée.

4. Interrupteur CHORUS

DELAY

L'interrupteur CHORUS permet d'activer

l'effet de chorus.

Tournez le bouton pour modifier la durée

et la quantité d'effet de retard.

L'effet de chorus du MOBILE CUBE est

de type « Spatially Synthesized Chorus »,

méthode qui tire parti de la lecture stéréo

pour générer une sensation d'espace.

Définition de DELAY

DELAY désigne un retard un peu semblable

à un écho, une répétition du son d'origine

une fois ce dernier joué, ce qui produit un

effet qui permet d'ajouter une sensation

d'espace et de profondeur. En outre, lorsque

cet effet est appliqué à des instruments

solistes, cela peut donner un son plus lisse

ou encore apporter une qualité acoustique

supplémentaire au rythme.

Qu'est-ce qu'un chorus de type

« Spatially Synthesized Chorus » ?

Grâce à la méthode « Spatially Synthesized

Chorus », disponible uniquement en

stéréo, un effet de chorus est créé en

mélangeant dans l'espace réel le son du

haut-parleur droit (qui produit un effet) et

le son du haut-parleur gauche (qui produit

un son direct). On obtient ainsi un son plus

large et plus naturel que celui produit en

mélangeant les sons électroniquement.

REVERB (REVERB stéréo)

Produit un effet de réverbération stéréo de

son spacieux. Tournez le bouton pour régler

le niveau de réverbération.

Qu'est ce que la réverbération (REVERB) ?

AUX

Il s'agit d'un effet qui, en ajoutant de la

réverbération à un son, lui insuffle une

sensation d'espace et de profondeur.

5. Interrupteur CENTER CANCEL

L'interrupteur CENTER CANCEL permet

d'éliminer des sons (tels que les chants ou

les solos guitare) situés au centre de la source

stéréo du CD audio ou de tout autre appareil

connecté sur AUX IN. Cette fonction est

particulièrement pratique si vous souhaitez

utiliser le source pour un karaoké ou pour

des exercices de guitare.

8. Voyant d’alimentation

Le voyant d’alimentation s’allume lorsque

l’amplificateur est sous tension.

Lorsque l’amplificateur fonctionne sur piles uniquement,

l’intensité lumineuse du voyant diminue si le niveau

de charge des piles devient insuffisant.

Les sons peuvent facilement être déformés ou coupés

à volume élevé lorsque le niveau de charge des piles

diminue. Ce phénomène est normal et n’indique pas

de dysfonctionnement particulier.

Il est parfois impossible, pour certaines sources stéréo,

d'obtenir un effet d'annulation suffisant.

Dans une telle situation, remplacez les piles ou utilisez

l'adaptateur secteur (vendu séparément).

Cet appareil est équipé d'un circuit de protection. Un bref

intervalle (quelques secondes) est nécessaire à la mise sous

tension avant que l'appareil ne puisse fonctionner

normalement.

Placez l'adaptateur secteur de sorte que le côté

comportant le voyant (voir illustration) soit dirigé

vers le haut et que le côté comportant les commentaires

soit dirigé vers le bas. Le voyant doit s'éclairer lorsque

vous branchez l'adaptateur secteur dans une prise de

courant.

Même si le volume est réglé au minimum, il est possible

que vous entendiez un son lors de la mise sous tension

En fonction de votre installation, il est possible

que vous éprouviez un certain inconfort ou

que vous perceviez une rugosité en touchant

la surface de l’amplificateur, des microphones

connectés ou des parties métalliques d’autres

objets, tels que les guitares, par exemple.

Ce phénomène est dû à de petites charges

électriques, absolument sans danger.

En raison d'interférences provenant d'appareils externes

ou de la prise secteur à laquelle votre appareil est connecté,

une quantité notable de bruit peut être émise partir de

cet appareil. Relier la prise de terre à une prise de terre

extérieure peut réduire ce bruit.

Pour y remédier, vous pouvez relier la prise

de terre à une prise de terre extérieure.

Lorsque l’appareil est ainsi connecté, un léger

bourdonnement peut apparaître, en fonction

de l’installation. Si vous n’êtes pas certain du

mode de connexion à établir, prenez contact

avec le centre de maintenance Roland le plus

proche, ou avec un distributeur Roland agréé

(voir la page Information).

9. Compartiment de piles

Insérez six piles LR06. Reportez-vous

à la section « Insertion des piles » (p. 21).

Utilisez uniquement des piles salines ou alcalines (LR6).

Vous ne pouvez pas utiliser un autre type de pile.

L'utilisation de piles alcalines est recommandée car la

consommation d'énergie de l'appareil est relativement

élevée.

3. Mettez le MOBILE CUBE sous tension.

Une fois les connexions établies, mettez les divers appareils

sous tension en suivant l’ordre indiqué. Si vous ne

respectez pas l’ordre de mise sous tension des appareils,

vous risquez de provoquer un dysfonctionnement et/ou

d’endommager les haut-parleurs ou d’autres appareils.

4. Réglez le volume des appareils.

5. Avant de couper l’alimentation, réduisez

le volume de tous vos périphériques, puis

mettez-les HORS TENSION en procédant

dans l’ordre inverse de la mise sous tension.

1. Assurez-vous que tous les boutons de

commande du volume du MOBILE CUBE

et des appareils qui y sont reliés sont sur

la position 0.

Afin d'éviter tout dysfonctionnement et/ou dommage

des haut-parleurs et d'autres appareils, réduisez le volume

de tous vos appareils au minimum puis mettez-les hors-

tension avant d'effectuer vos branchements.

Utilisation d'un pied de micro

Avec un pied de micro, vous pouvez monter

le MOBILE CUBE à une hauteur optimale afin

de l'utiliser comme haut-parleur de contrôle

ou comme systéme de diffusion.

Le filetage est compatible avec des pieds de micro

de 10 et de 15 mm.

Si vous utilisez le MOBILE CUBE avec un pied

de micro de 15 mm, retirez l'adaptateur du pied

de micro au bas de l'appareil.

Règles à respecter lors de l'utilisation

d'un pied de micro

Comme indiqué dans l'illustration ci-dessous,

vous devez utiliser un pied de micro dont la

hauteur ne dépasse pas 125 cm (en incluant le

MOBILE CUBE), et dont l'ouverture des pieds

puisse atteindre au moins la largeur maximale

de 63 cm.

Si vous n'utilisez pas un pied de micro, vérifiez que

l'adaptateur est bien fixé afin d'éviter une perte de son (air).

Si vous n'utilisez pas un pied de micro conforme aux

caractéristiques ci-dessus, le pied risque de basculer et

de provoquer des dommages matériels ou des blessures.

Lorsque vous utilisez le MOBILE CUBE avec un pied de

micro, ce dernier doit être installé avec précaution sur une

surface plane sur laquelle il est assuré de demeurer stable.

Les câbles connectés au MOBILE CUBE doivent avoir

suffisamment d'ampleur pour éviter les accidents au cas

ou quelqu'un trébucherait sur l'un deux.

Pour éviter les accidents dus aux chutes, ne placez aucun

objet sur le MOBILE CUBE lorsque ce dernier est monté

sur un pied de micro.

Une fois que le MOBILE CUBE est fixé sur le pied

de micro, vérifiez qu'il est stable avant de l'utiliser.

Lorsque vous retournez l'appareil, placez une pile de

journaux ou de magazines sous les quatre coins ou aux

deux extrémités afin de ne pas endommager les boutons et

les contrôles. Essayez également d'orienter l'appareil de

manière à ne pas endommager les boutons ou les contrôles.

presenti le batterie, l'unità continuerà a funzionare

normalmente nel caso in cui l'emissione di corrente

venga interrotta (distacco del cavo di alimentazione).

Quando si installano o si sostituiscono le batterie,

spegnere sempre l'unità e scollegare qualsiasi altro

dispositivo eventualmente collegato. In tal modo

è possibile evitare il malfunzionamento e/o danni

alle casse o ad altri dispositivi.

6. Manopola TONE

DIST (DISTORTION)

Distorsione maggiore di OVERDRIVE.

Consente di regolare il tono. Ruotare

la manopola in senso orario per un tono

più intenso; per ottenere un tono più lieve,

ruotare la manopola in senso antiorario.

3. Manopola VOLUME

Questa funzione consente di regolare

il volume del dispositivo collegato ai jack

di ingresso Keyboard/Instrument/Guitar.

7. Manopola DELAY/REVERB

Ruotare la manopola DELAY o REVERB per

passare all'effetto desiderato, quindi regolare

la quantità di effetto applicato.

4. Interruttore CHORUS

Premendo l'interruttore CHORUS si attiva

l'effetto chorus.

DELAY

L'effetto chorus di MOBILE CUBE è un

chorus sintetizzato a livello spaziale che

sfrutta la riproduzione stereo per generare

una sensazione di ampiezza.

Ruotare la manopola per modificare il tempo

e l'intensità degli effetti delay.

Descrizione dell'effetto DELAY

Un delay è simile all'eco e ripetendo il suono

originale dopo che è stato suonato, questo

effetto può aggiungere una sensazione di

spazialità e profondità al suono. Inoltre,

quando questo effetto viene applicato

a strumenti che riproducono melodie,

può rendere il suono di tali esecuzioni più

morbido o aggiungere vivacità al ritmo.

ampio. Ruotare la manopola per regolare

il livello di reverb.

In casi simili, sostituire le batterie o utilizzare l'adattatore

CA (venduto separatamente).

Per alcune origini stereo, potrebbe non essere possibile

ottenere un effetto di cancellazione sufficiente.

del dispositivo, i microfoni a esso collegati

o le parti metalliche di altri oggetti, ad

esempio le chitarre, si avverta una sensazione

sgradevole. Ciò è dovuto a una piccolissima

carica elettrica, assolutamente innocua.

Se tuttavia tale carica dovesse generare

preoccupazione, collegare il morsetto di

terra (vedere la figura) a una messa a terra

esterna. Quando l'unità è collegata a massa,

è possibile che venga generato un leggero

ronzio, a seconda dell'installazione. Se non

si è sicuri del metodo di collegamento,

contattare il Centro di assistenza Roland più

vicino o un distributore Roland autorizzato,

in base all'elenco nella pagina ”Informazioni”.

A causa dell'interferenza di dispositivi esterni o della presa

di alimentazione a cui si è collegati, è possibile che l'unità

emetta una notevole quantità di rumore, che può essere

ridotto collegando il morsetto di terra a una messa a terra

esterna.

9. Comparto delle batterie

Inserire sei batterie AA. Fare riferimento

a “Inserimento delle batterie” (p. 29).

Utilizzare solo batterie alcaline o al manganese (LR6).

Non è possibile utilizzare qualsiasi tipo di batterie.

Si consiglia l'uso di batterie alcaline poiché il consumo

3. Accendere l'unità MOBILE CUBE

Una volta completate le connessioni, accendere i vari

dispositivi nell'ordine specificato. Se i dispositivi vengono

accesi nell'ordine errato, è possibile che si verifichi un

malfunzionamento e/o danni alle casse e agli altri dispositivi.

4. Regolare i livelli di volume dei dispositivi.

Utilizzo di un'asta per microfono

Mediante l'utilizzo di un'asta per microfono,

è possibile montare l'unità MOBILE CUBE

all'altezza ottimale per utilizzarla come cassa

monitor o come semplice dispositivo PA.

Il supporto dell'asta per microfono sostiene

un diametro di 3/8 pollici o 5/8 pollici.

Se si utilizza l'unità MOBILE CUBE con

un'asta per microfono di 5/8 pollici, rimuovere

l'adattatore dell'asta per microfono dalla parte

inferiore dell'unità.

Requisiti per l'utilizzo di un'asta

per microfono

Come illustrato nella figura seguente,

è necessario utilizzare un'asta per microfono non

più alta di 125 cm (inclusa l'unità MOBILE CUBE)

e dotata di gambe apribili fino a un'ampiezza

massima di 63 cm o più.

Preparativos para el uso

Insertar las pilas

Sujetar la correa

El MOBILE CUBE también se puede utilizar con

seis pilas AA. Inserte las pilas como se muestra en

la figura, y asegúrese de que están orientadas

correctamente.

1. Introduzca la correa por el pasador que hay a tal

efecto.

Utilice únicamente pilas alcalinas o de magnesio.

Al cerrar la tapa del compartimento de las pilas,

inserte primero las lengüetas de la tapa en las ranuras

correspondientes y, a continuación, empuje

2. Fíjela con botón de la correa.

Asegúrese de que la correa queda bien sujeta para

que no se suelte con facilidad. Si la correa se suelta

y la utiliza para transportar el MOBILE CUBE,

el amplificador podría caerse y sufrir daños.

Utilización de las pilas

Tenga en cuenta los siguientes aspectos.

Si las pilas están puestas mientras se utiliza el

adaptador de CA, el aparato seguirá funcionando

aunque se interrumpa la corriente de alimentación

(porque se desenchufa el cable accidentalmente).

Cuando vaya a instalar o sustituir las pilas, apague

siempre la unidad y desconecte todos los dispositivos

que haya conectados. De esta forma se puede prevenir

un funcionamiento deficiente o daños a los altavoces

y otros dispositivos.

La vida útil de las pilas alcalinas es de una 15 horas

de funcionamiento continuo. La duración variará

en función de las condiciones de uso reales.

Cuando la unidad funciona sólo con pilas, la luz

del indicador se atenúa durante en el momento en que

la carga de las pilas empieza a ser demasiado baja.

Sustituya las pilas lo antes posible.

Utilice exclusivamente la correa suministrada.

Esta correa está diseñada para su uso exclusivo con el

MOBILE CUBE. No la utilice para otros productos.

No dé vueltas ni balancee el MOBILE CUBE cuando

lo esté sujetando por la correa. Esto es muy peligroso

porque puede dar lugar a que se suelte la correa

o incluso, si el movimiento es muy repetido, a que

ésta se rompa.

Use el conector L/MONO GUITAR para

hacer las conexiones. El conector R no se

puede usar.

DIST (DISTORSIÓN)

Distorsión más fuerte que la de OVERDRIVE.

DELAY

Si pulsa el interruptor CHORUS se activará

el efecto coral.

Gire el mando para cambiar la duración

y la magnitud de los efectos de retardo.

El efecto coral de MOBILE CUBE es un efecto

coral espacialmente sintetizado que utiliza

la reproducción estereofónica para generar

una sensación expansiva.

RETARDO

Un retardo se parece un poco al eco y,

mediante la repetición del sonido original

después de que se haya reproducido, este

efecto puede agregar una sensación de espacio

y profundidad al sonido. Además, si se aplica

este efecto a instrumentos que tocan melodías,

puede hacer que suenen más suaves o agregar

cierta reverberación a su ritmo.

Efecto coral espacialmente sintetizado

En este efecto, un método que sólo está

disponible en estéreo, se crea un efecto

coral tomando el sonido del altavoz

derecho (desde el que sale el sonido

del efecto) y el del altavoz izquierdo

(desde el que sale el sonido directo),

y mezclándolos en el espacio real. Así

se obtiene una mayor distribución lateral

que la producida cuando los sonidos

se mezclan electrónicamente, además

de proporcionar una mayor naturalidad.

REVERB (REVERB estereofónica)

Proporciona una reverberación estereofónica

con sonido espacial. Gire el mando para

ajustar el nivel de reverberación.

REVERBERACIÓN

Si se agrega reverberación a un sonido,

éste adquirirá una sensación de espacio

y profundidad.

5. Interruptor CENTER CANCEL

Este indicador se enciende cuando la unidad

está en funcionamiento.

Si pulsa el interruptor CENTER CANCEL

se eliminarán los sonidos (como voces o solos

de guitarra) que se encuentran en el centro

de la fuente estereofónica del CD de música

u otro dispositivo conectado a AUX IN.

Resulta apropiado si se desea usar la fuente

para karaoke o para practicar con la guitarra.

Cuando la unidad funciona sólo con pilas, la luz del

indicador se atenúa durante la reproducción en el momento

en que la carga de las pilas empieza a ser demasiado baja.

Cuando la carga de las pilas empieza a ser demasiado baja,

el sonido puede distorsionarse o incluso cesar cuando se

emite a alto volumen, pero esto es normal y no indica

ninguna deficiencia de funcionamiento.

En tal caso, sustituya las pilas o utilice el adaptador de CA

(se vende por separado).

Con algunas fuentes estereofónicas podría no obtenerse

un efecto de cancelación suficiente.

TONE y DELAY/REVERB

Sus efectos se advierten únicamente en el dispositivo

conectado a MIC y a los conectores de entrada

KEYBOARD/INSTRUMENT/GUITAR.

6. Mando TONE

Ajusta el tono. Gire el mando hacia la derecha

para destacar el tono; para obtener un tono

más suave, gírelo hacia la izquierda.

Coloque el adaptador de CA de manera que el lado del

indicador (ver ilustración) esté orientado hacia arriba

y el lado con texto informativo esté orientado hacia

abajo. El indicador se enciende al enchufar el

adaptador de CA a una salida de CA.

La unidad está equipada con un circuito de protección.

Después del encendido, es necesario esperar unos segundos

para que la unidad funcione con normalidad.

Incluso con el volumen totalmente bajado oirá algún sonido

al encender el equipo, aunque se trata de algo normal

y no de una deficiencia de funcionamiento.

Dependiendo de la posición del mando, el volumen podría

se demasiado alto al encender el equipo. Reduzca siempre

el nivel del volumen antes de encenderlo.

En algunas circunstancias, es posible que al tocar

este dispositivo se experimente una sensación

desagradable o se perciba una sensación

rasposa al rozar la superficie del aparato,

de los micrófonos conectados a él o de las partes

metálicas de otros objetos, como por ejemplo

las guitarras. Esto se debe a una carga eléctrica

infinitesimal completamente inofensiva.

Sin embargo, si se prefiere evitar este fenómeno,

basta con conectar la terminal de toma de tierra

(vea la ilustración) a una toma de tierra externa.

Una vez puesta a tierra la unidad, puede

producirse un leve zumbido, dependiendo

de las peculiaridades de la instalación. Si tiene

dudas respecto al método de conexión, póngase

en contacto con el centro de servicio Roland

más cercano o con un distribuidor autorizado

de Roland de los que se indican en la página

de información.

Como consecuencia de las interferencias de dispositivos

externos o la toma de corriente a los que esté conectado

9. Compartimento de las pilas

Introduzca 6 pilas de tipo AA. Consulte

“Insertar las pilas”(p. 37).

Utilice únicamente pilas alcalinas o de magnesio (LR6).

No se puede usar ningún otro tipo de pilas.

Se recomienda utilizar pilas alcalinas porque el consumo

de energía de la unidad es relativamente alto.

marcha los dispositivos en un orden equivocado, puede

Utilizar un pie de micrófono

Mediante la utilización de un pie de micrófono,

el MOBILE CUBE se puede colocar a la altura

óptima para su uso como altavoz de un monitor

o un sencillo altavoz.

El adaptador del pie de micrófono puede

tener un diámetro de 0,95 cm o 1,58 cm.

Si utiliza el MOBILE CUBE con un pie

de micrófono de 1,58 cm, extraiga de la parte

inferior de la unidad el adaptador para el pie

de micrófono.

Requisitos para utilizar un pie

de micrófono

Como se muestra en la siguiente ilustración, debe

usar un pie de micrófono con una altura máxima de

125 cm (incluido el MOBILE CUBE), y cuyas patas

se puedan abrir a una anchura mínima de 63 cm.

CUBE cuando esté montado en un pie de micrófono.

Después de montar el MOBILE CUBE en el pie de

micrófono, asegúrese de que está estable antes de utilizarlo.

Si no va a utilizar un pie de micrófono, no olvide poner

el adaptador para pie de micrófono para evitar la pérdida

Preparando-se para usar

Colocando as pilhas

Encaixando a alça

O MOBILE CUBE também funciona com seis

pilhas AA. Coloque as pilhas conforme ilustrado

na figura, verifique se elas estão na direção correta.

1. Passe a alça por dentro do suporte.

Pino da alça

Use apenas pilhas de manganês ou alcalinas.

Antes de fechar a tampa do compartimento de pilhas,

primeiramente encaixe as lingüetas da tampa nos

orifícios de encaixe e, em seguida, pressione com

firmeza a tampa para baixo até ouvir um clique

2. Prenda a alça no pino da alça.

Encaixe-a com firmeza para que não se solte

facilmente. Se você deixá-la frouxa e usá-la

dessa forma ao carregar o MÓBILE CUBE,

correrá o risco de derrubar o amplificador

e possivelmente danificar o equipamento

ou se ferir.

Usando as pilhas

Observe os pontos a seguir.

Se estiver usando um adaptador CA e houver pilhas

na unidade, o aparelho continuará a funcionar mesmo

em caso de interrupção do fornecimento de corrente

(desconexão do cabo de força).

Ao instalar ou trocar as pilhas, sempre desligue

o equipamento e desconecte todos os outros

dispositivos que estejam conectados. Dessa forma,

você evita mau funcionamento e/ou danos aos alto-

falantes ou aos outros dispositivos.

Expectativa de duração da pilha em uso contínuo:

Alcalina: aprox. 15 horas

Esse número pode variar dependendo das condições

reais de uso.

Quando estiver funcionando apenas com a energia

das pilhas, o indicador do equipamento esmaecerá

para sinalizar que as pilhas estão fracas. Troque

as pilhas assim que possível.

Use apenas a alça fornecida.

A alça inclupida é para uso exclusivo com

o MOBILE CUBE. Não a use em outros produtos.

Não gire ou balance o MOBILE CUBE, se estiver

transportando-o pela alça. Isso é extremamente

perigoso, porque a alça pode se soltar; ou, se

o movimento for muito repetitivo, ela poderá

até quebrar.

Oferece um som alto e limpo.

O efeito se aplica apenas ao aparelho conectado ao MIC

e aos plugues de entrada KEYBOARD/INSTRUMENT/

GUITAR.

OVERDRIVE

Som de distorção natural, semelhante

ao som obtido aumentando todo o volume

do amplificador.

6. Botão TONE

Ajusta o timbre. Gire o botão no sentido

horário para obter um tom mais alto, para

obter um timbre mais suave, gire o botão

no sentido anti-horário.

DIST (DISTORÇÃO)

Distorção maior que o OVERDRIVE.

3. Botão VOLUME

Ajusta o volume do aparelho conectado

ao(s) plugue(s) Keyboard/Instrument/

Guitar.

7. Botão DELAY/REVERB

Gire esse botão para DELAY ou REVERB

para mudar para um desses efeitos. Gire

o botão para ajustar a intensidade do efeito

aplicado.

4. Chave CHORUS

Ao pressionar a chave CHORUS, o efeito

chorus é ligado.

DELAY

O efeito chorus do MOBILE CUBE

é sintetizado espacialmente para aproveitar

a reprodução estéreo e gerar uma sensação

expansiva.

Gire o botão para mudar o tempo

e a quantidade de efeitos de delay.

O que é DELAY

Uma delay é um pouco parecido com um

eco e, ao repetir o som original após ele ser

reproduzido, esse efeito pode adicionar uma

sensação de espaço e profundidade ao som.

Além disso, quando esse efeito é aplicado

a instrumentos que tocam melodias, ele

pode tornar o som mais suave e acrescentar

um compasso adicional ao ritmo.

O que é chorus sintetizado espacialmente

Com o chorus sintetizado espacialmente,

um método disponível apenas em estéreo,

o efeito de chorus é criado juntando-se

o som do alto-falante direito (a partir do

qual o efeito de som é emitido) e do alto-

falante esquerdo (que emite o som direto)

e, em seguida, misturando-os no espaço

real. Isso gera uma projeção lateral bem

maior do que aquela produzida quando

os sons são misturados eletronicamente,

proporcionando, assim, uma sensação

de amplidão muito mais natural.

REVERB (REVERB estéreo)

Oferece reverberação estéreo que dá idéia

de amplitude. Gire o botão para ajustar

o nível de reverb.

O que é REVERB

Ao acrescentar reverberação, esse efeito

incorpora ao som uma sensação de amplitude

e profundidade.

8. Indicador de energia

5. Chave CENTER CANCEL

Esse indicador acende quando o equipamento

está ligado.

Ao pressionar a chave CENTER CANCEL,

serão eliminados sons (como vocais ou

solos de guitarra) localizados no centro

da fonte estéreo do CD de música ou

de outro aparelho conectado ao AUX IN.

Isso é conveniente quando você quer usar

a fonte para caraoquê ou prática de guitarra.

Quando estiver funcionando apenas com a energia das

pilhas, o indicador do equipamento esmaecerá quando ele

estiver sendo usado para sinalizar que as pilhas estão fracas.

Se a energia das pilhas estiver começando a acabar,

os sons naturalmente sofrerão distorções ou sumirão

se reproduzidos com o volume alto, mas isso é normal

e não indica mau funcionamento.

Se isso acontecer, troque as pilhas ou use o adaptador

CA (vendido separadamente).

Em algumas fontes estéreo, não será possível obter

um efeito de cancelamento suficiente.

Posicione o adaptador CA de modo que o lado do

indicador (veja a ilustração) fique voltado para cima,

e o lado com informações de texto fique voltado para

baixo. O indicador acenderá quando você ligar

o adaptador CA em uma tomada de CA.

Esse aparelho é equipado com um circuito de proteção.

É necessário aguardar um breve intervalo (alguns

segundos) após ligar o equipamento para que ele

funcione normalmente.

Mesmo quando o volume for totalmente diminuído,

você poderá ouvir ainda algum som ao ligar a força,

porém isso é normal e não indica mau funcionamento.

Dependendo das circunstâncias de um ajuste

em particular, você talvez sinta uma sensação

desconfortável ou perceba que a superfície fica

áspera ao tocar o aparelho, os microfones

conectados a ele ou a parte metálica dos

demais objetos (por exemplo, guitarras ou

violões). Isso ocorre por causa de uma carga

elétrica ínfima, absolutamente inofensiva.

No entanto, se ficar preocupado com isso,

conecte o terminal de aterramento (veja

a figura) usando um fio terra externo. Quando

o equipamento estiver aterrado, poderá haver

um zumbido mínimo, dependendo dos

detalhes da instalação. Se você não tiver

certeza sobre o método de conexão, entre em

contato com o Serviço Técnico da Roland ou

com um distribuidor autorizado da Roland,

conforme listado na página “Informações”.

Devido à interferência de dispositivos externos ou da

tomada onde estiver conectado, o equipamento poderá

emitir muito barulho. Conectando o terminal terra com

um aterramento externo, esse barulho poderá ser reduzido.

3. Ligue o MOBILE CUBE

Assim que as conexões forem feitas, ligue a energia

dos vários aparelhos na ordem especificada. Ao ligar

os aparelhos na ordem errada, você corre o risco de mau

funcionamento e/ou danos em alto-falantes e em outros

aparelhos.

4. Ajuste os níveis de volume dos aparelhos.

Usando um Pedestal para microfone

Quando você usar um pedestal para microfone,

poderá colocar o MOBILE CUBE na altura

desejada para que seja usado como alto-falante

do monitor ou como um simples alto-falante.

O suporte do pedestal do microfone apóia

diâmetros de 3/8 pol. ou 5/8 pol.

Se você estiver usando o MOBILE CUBE com um

pedestal de 5/8, retire o adaptador do pedestal

do microfone da parte inferior do equipamento.

Requisitos para o uso do pedestal do

microfone

Conforme exibido na ilustração abaixo, você deve

usar um pedestal de microfone que não seja

maior que 125 cm (incluindo o MOBILE CUBE)

e cujos apoios possam ser abertos em uma

largura que não ultrapasse 63 cm.

Ao usar um pedestal de microfone que não atenda

às especificações acima poderá resultar em danos ao

nivelado e estável.

Os cabos conectados ao MOBILE CUBE deverão ter folga

Para evitar acidentes devido a quedas, não coloque qualquer

objeto no MOBILE CUBE quando ele estiver montado

em um pedestal de microfone.

Após prender o MOBILE CUBE no pedestal do microfone,

bastante jornal e revista e coloque embaixo dos quatro

Klaarmaken voor gebruik

De netstroomadapter gebruiken

Batterijen plaatsen

De MOBILE CUBE kan ook met zes AA-batterijen

worden aangedreven. Plaats de batterijen zoals

getoond in de afbeelding en let erop dat de

batterijen in de juiste richting zijn geplaatst.

De riem bevestigen

1. Steek de riem door de riemhouder.

Gebruik alleen mangaan- of alkalinebatterijen.

Steek bij het sluiten van het klepje van het batterijvak

eerst de sluithaken in de overeenstemmende

openingen en druk vervolgens het klepje naar

beneden tot het vastklikt.

Riempen

2. Maak de riem vast aan de riempen.

Batterijen gebruiken

Houd rekening met de volgende opmerkingen.

Maak de riem stevig vast zodat hij niet gemakkelijk

kan losraken. Als u de MOBILE CUBE met de riem

draagt terwijl die los is, kan de versterker vallen,

met mogelijk schade of letsel tot gevolg.

Als er batterijen in het toestel zijn geplaatst terwijl

de netstroomadapter wordt gebruikt, kan het toestel

verder worden gebruikt als het lijnvoltage

onderbroken wordt (loskoppeling van netsnoer).

Schakel het toestel steeds uit en koppel eventueel

aangesloten apparaten los als u batterijen installeert

of vervangt. Op die manier kunt u defecten en/of schade

aan luidsprekers of andere apparaten voorkomen.

Verwachte batterijduur onder voortdurend gebruik:

Alkaline: ongeveer 15 uur

Als de stroomvoorziening alleen met behulp van

De bijgeleverde riem is uitsluitend bedoeld voor

gebruik met de MOBILE CUBE. Gebruik de riem

niet voor andere producten.

Draai of zwaai niet met de MOBILE CUBE terwijl

u hem aan de riem vasthoudt. Dit is erg gevaarlijk

omdat hierdoor de riem kan losraken, of, als de

beweging genoeg wordt herhaald, zelfs breken.

Dit is een ingang die specifiek voor

microfoons is bedoeld.

Deze kan gelijktijdig met KEYBOARD/

INSTRUMENT/GUITAR en AUX worden

gebruikt.

Kies deze optie als u een instrument hebt

aangesloten zoals een keyboard of een

effectprocessor voor gitaar. U kunt kiezen

tussen een NORMAL of FAT geluid.

NORMAL

Deze optie zorgt voor een vlakke

toonrespons.

Gebruik de L/MONO GUITAR-aansluiting.

De R-aansluiting kan niet worden gebruikt.

DIST (DISTORTION)

Meer verstoring dan OVERDRIVE.

Het choruseffect van de MOBILE CUBE

is een ruimtelijk samengestelde chorus

die gebruikmaakt van de stereoweergave

om een gevoel van ruimte te creëren.

Wat is DELAY?

Een delay lijkt op een echo; door het

oorspronkelijke geluid te herhalen na het

spelen kan dit effect een gevoel van ruimte en

diepte aan het geluid toevoegen. Als dit effect

bovendien wordt toegepast op instrumenten

die geschikt zijn voor melodieën, wordt het

geluid vloeiender of wordt het ritmespel

levendiger.

Wat is een ruimtelijk samengestelde

chorus?

Bij een ruimtelijk samengestelde chorus,

een methode die alleen in stereo kan

worden gebruikt, wordt het choruseffect

gecreëerd door het geluid van de rechter

luidspreker (waarmee het effectgeluid

wordt weergegeven) en het geluid van

de linker luidspreker (die het

rechtstreekse geluid weergeeft) ruimtelijk

te mixen. Dit zorgt voor een grotere

spreiding dan wanneer de geluiden

elektronisch worden gemengd, wat een

natuurlijker gevoel van breedte geeft.

REVERB (Stereo-REVERB)

Ruimtelijk klinkende stereogalm is voorzien.

Draai met de regelaar om het galmeffect

te wijzigen.

Wat is REVERB?

Door galm aan een geluid toe te voegen,

doordrenkt dit effect het geluid met een

gevoel van ruimte en diepte.

5. CENTER CANCEL-schakelaar

Door op de CENTER CANCEL-schakelaar

te drukken, worden geluiden (zoals zang of

gitaarsolo’s) gedempt die zich in het midden

van het stereoveld bevinden van de muziek-

cd of een ander apparaat dat op AUX IN is

aangesloten. Dit is handig als u de bron voor

karaoke of gitaaroefening wilt gebruiken.

Als de stroomvoorziening alleen met behulp van batterijen

gebeurt, zwakt het lampje van het toestel af tijdens het

spelen als de batterij leeg raakt.

Geluiden worden gemakkelijk verstoord of onderbroken als

er aan hoog volume wordt gespeeld terwijl de batterij leeg

begint te lopen. Dit is normaal en duidt niet op een defect.

In dergelijke omstandigheden vervangt u best de batterijen

of gebruikt u de netstroomadapter (apart verkrijgbaar).

Bij sommige stereobronnen zorgt dit dempingseffect

mogelijk niet voor het gewenste resultaat.

TONE en DELAY/REVERB

Het effect werkt alleen voor het apparaat dat op de MIC- en

op de KEYBOARD/INSTRUMENT/GUITAR-ingangen

is aangesloten.

6. TONE-knop

Dit wijzigt de tooneigenschappen. Draai de

knop rechtsom voor een helderder geluid.

Draai de knop linksom voor een zachter geluid.

5. POWER (POWER-schakelaar)

Gebruik uitsluitend een netstroomadapter van de PSB-

serie. Als u andere netstroomadapters gebruikt, kunt u de

versterker beschadigen of andere problemen veroorzaken.

Dit apparaat is uitgerust met een beveiligingscircuit.

Het duurt even (enkele seconden) na het opstarten voordat

het apparaat normaal werkt.

Plaats de netstroomadapter zodat de zijde met het

lampje (zie afbeelding) naar boven is gericht en de

zijde met tekstinformatie naar beneden is gericht. Het

lampje zal oplichten wanneer u de netstroomadapter

in een stopcontact steekt.

Zelfs als het volume volledig op nul staat, kunt u nog geluid

horen wanneer het toestel wordt ingeschakeld.

Dit is normaal en wijst niet op een defect.

Afhankelijk van de omstandigheden van

een bepaalde opstelling ervaart u mogelijk

een ongemakkelijk gevoel of lijkt het

Schakel de voeding naar uw verschillende apparaten in de

aangegeven volgorde in zodra de aansluitingen voltooid

zijn. Als u de apparaten in de verkeerde volgorde inschakelt,

kunnen er defecten optreden en/of kan er schade aan de

luidsprekers en andere apparaten ontstaan.

Een microfoonstandaard gebruiken

Door een microfoonstandaard te gebruiken

kunt u de MOBILE CUBE op de optimale hoogte

opstellen voor gebruik als een

monitorluidspreker of eenvoudig PA-apparaat.

De houder van de microfoonstandaard

ondersteunt een diameter van 3/8 inch

of 5/8 inch.

Verwijder de microfoonstandaardadapter aan

de onderkant van het apparaat als u de MOBILE

CUBE met een 5/8 inch microfoonstandaard

gebruikt.

Vereisten bij gebruik van een

microfoonstandaard

Zoals weergegeven in onderstaande afbeelding

moet u een microfoonstandaard gebruiken die

niet hoger is dan 125 cm (inclusief de MOBILE

CUBE) en waarvan de poten tot een

maximumbreedte van 63 cm of meer

kunnen worden geopend.

Gebruik van een microfoonstandaard die niet aan

bovenstaande specificaties voldoet kan schade aan

apparatuur of letsel tot gevolg hebben door het omvallen

Bevestig de microfoonstandaardadapter als u geen

microfoonstandaard gebruikt om te voorkomen dat er geluid

(lucht) lekt.

Zelfs als u MOBILE CUBE met een microfoonstandaard

gebruikt, moet de microfoonstandaard voorzichtig geplaatst

worden in een horizontale, stabiele positie.

Kabels die op de MOBILE CUBE zijn aangesloten, moeten

genoeg speling krijgen om te vermijden dat iemand erover

struikelt en bijgevolg ongelukken veroorzaakt.

Plaats geen voorwerp op de MOBILE CUBE als deze

op de microfoonstandaard is gemonteerd om te voorkomen

dat deze valt en bijgevolg ongelukken veroorzaakt.

Controleer voor gebruik of de MOBILE CUBE stabiel is

nadat u hem op de microfoonstandaard hebt bevestigd.

Plaats een aantal kranten of magazines onder de vier hoeken

of aan beide zijden om schade aan knoppen en regelaars

te voorkomen als u het apparaat ondersteboven draait.

U probeert ook best het apparaat in een richting te plaatsen

waarbij geen knoppen of regelaars beschadigd raken.
