SET-UP...
• Unpack unit and install PUR® mineralclear® filter
into filter chamber, located under the PUR® filter
cap. Tighten filter cap.
2. Before first time usage, wipe off any packaging dust from the unit and clean the unit inside and
out and all areas with a damp cloth.
3. Position the unit on a stable flat surface indoors, close to a main power outlet – cord can be
wrapped or unwrapped from the bottom for the right length to the power outlet. Avoid direct sunlight
or heat source and keep out of the reach of small children.

PRiminG THE OSTER® WATER FiLTRATiOn
SYSTEm WiTH A nEW FiLTER
1. Remove the fill cap and cover of the unit if already in place, then unscrew the PUR® filter cap
counterclockwise 360° and remove.
2. Remove the filter from the foil pouch.
1. you will need to flush water thru the system when a new filter is installed or when using for the first
time. This will prime the filter and also rinse your system thoroughly. It is normal to see particles in
the water while priming.
3. Take the PUR® mineralclear® filter and drop into the filter chamber so the flat portion of
the filter with the tab is on top and showing. Replace PUR® filter cap by screwing the cap
clockwise 360° to tighten, so the point of the water drop shaped cap is pointing to the mark.
NOTE: It is normal when priming the system prior to first use or when changing the filter to
see residue, and/ or cloudy water dispense. Once you have flushed the system with one full
tank of water and disposed of the water, refill with fresh water and the water will dispense
clean and clear.
2. If needed, plug in the Water Filtration system and turn on power – switch located in the back of the
unit; slide to ON.
3. With the new PUR® mineralclear® filter in place (see previous sections to install the filter). Remove
the fill cap and pour water thru the fill zone (with blue ring) to mAX fill line. Water will drain down
through the system, so keep filling until it reaches the mAX fill line and replace cap. (Also see page
9, Filling the Appliance.) The blue water window also indicates the unit is full, with the white ball on
top. Bubbling sounds are normal as air escapes as water is poured in.
4. With filter properly installed, the filter life lights will be all white indicating that the filter has 100%
life. White lights will sequentially disappear as the filter is used. When filter life is completely
used, the red lights will illuminate.
5. Replace top cover and fill cap. Ensure the top cover is
properly in place on the appliance with the pour spout
pointing in the forward right corner and fill zone (with blue
ring) is visible.
6. Now unit is ready to be filled with water to prime the
water filtration system. Only use water in the Oster®
water filtration system. Do not pour any other liquid into
the system except for potable water.
NOTE: Never use hot water as it will damage the filter and reduce filter life. Always fill with
cool water.
4. Press the oval dispensing lever until a steady stream of water is present and flowing steadily into
a glass. Continue dispensing until all the water has been dispensed. The system is empty when
the white ball on the blue water window is at bottom of window.
5. The Oster® Water Filtration System with PUR® mineralclear® filter is all ready to go. Refill to mAX
fill line, replace cap. The white ball will now be at the top of the blue water window on the front,
showing the appliance is full.
NOTE: The appliance will not operate without a filter
installed in the system. If no filter is in place the filter
life lights will flash.
6. Repeat the above steps each time a new filter is put into place. The filter life indicator lights will
go to red when a new filter is needed.
NOTE: Instructions for Priming the system with a new filter are also located on the
underside of the inner cover, for reference.

REFiLLinG THE APPLiAnCE
DiSPEnSinG WATER
1. Remove the fill cap located on the top of the filtration system by
lifting up on the edge of the cap.
1. Filtered water can be dispensed on demand, as the special
pump system quickly pushes water thru the PUR® mineralclear®
filter, dispensing clean clear water fast into your glass.
2. Fill the water reservoir thru the fill zone (with blue ring) with cool
water to the mAX fill line. Do not overfill past the line, as you do
not want water pooled on the top of the fill area. If extra water is
present, just wipe off with a towel before replacing the cap.
2. Place your favorite glass, cup, sports bottle or pitcher against
the dispensing oval and push – for fast and easy one-handed
dispensing.
NOTE: Never use hot water as it will damage the filter and
reduce filter life. Always fill with cool water.
3. Remove glass, cup, sports bottle or pitcher to stop dispensing.
NOTE: It is normal for the Oster® water filtration system
pump to be heard when the unit is dispensing water.

white ball at the top. The white ball will slowly drop as the water is used and will be at the bottom of
the water window when the system needs to be refilled.

CHOOSinG CHiLLED WATER
1. Turn the large Chill knob located on the side of the Oster® water filtration system to ON for the
system to begin the chilling process.
2. When switching to chilled water, allow approximately 5 hours for the system to cool water when
fresh water is added.

3. The blue Chill light located on the top of the unit will pulse while the water is chilling and will
illuminate solid when the water is chilled and ready to be enjoyed. When fresh water is added to the
system, the blue Chill light will again pulse until the water is fully chilled.
4. The chilling function can be
switched off at any time. Chilled
water will still be available until
the water has returned to room
temperature.
NOTE: The Oster® water filtration
system will make some noise as
the appliance is chilling the water.
Hint: Filtered water can always
be dispensed while the system is
chilling; however, water will not yet
be fully chilled.
NOTE: PUR® basic (Classic) replacement filter can also be used.

CARE AnD CLEAninG
Remove the plug from outlet before draining system, filter change or cleaning. Do not immerse
appliance or cord into liquids.
1. When the filter life indicator lights have turned from white to red, it is time to replace your PUR®
mineralclear® filter with a new one.
Draining the system
1. To empty the system, dispense all available water from the system.
Hint: It is easier to change the filter when no water is in the system. Unplug unit. Position over sink.
2. Some water will remain in the internal portions of the system. Turn off and unplug the appliance,
then remove the drain plug on the bottom of the unit, to drain the remaining water.
3. Once empty, the reservoir can we wiped out with a damp cloth.
4. The system should be fully drained and the filter removed before storing the system. When
removing the unit from storage, a new filter will need to be used to once again use the Oster®
water filtration system.
Remove drain plug to drain water from system and then insert drain plug.
2. Remove fill cap and then lift off the top cover.
3. locate the PUR® filter cap, twist the filter cap counterclockwise to loosen and remove cap –
SAVE cap to replace with new filter.
4. lift out filter using the small blue tab that is sticking up from the filter top and discard used filter.
NOTE: When the filter is out, it is a good time to clean the filter chamber and the outside of
the unit by wiping out the area with a damp paper towel.
5. Remove the new PUR® mineralclear® filter from the foil pouch.
6. Take the PUR® mineralclear® filter and drop into the filter chamber, so the flat portion of the filter
with the tab is on top and showing. Replace PUR® filter cap by screwing the cap clockwise 360°
to tighten, so the point of the water drop shaped cap is pointing to the mark, replace top cover
and fill cap.
NOTE: Do not use household chemicals or cleaners on or around the unit.
Regular Cleaning of the system - to be done only at filter change
1. Turn the unit off and unplug it from outlet.
2. Wipe off the entire exterior with a damp cloth.
3. Remove fill cap, top cover, PUR® filter cap and filter.
4. Filter chamber can be wiped out with a damp cloth and filter and cap replaced. Do not wash filter.
5. The base is not immersible. Simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth.
6. Dry thoroughly when clean.
7. See page 8 to Prime the System.
Semi-annual Cleaning of the system
1. Every 6 months the system should be cleaned to remove any mineral deposits.
2. Drain the system following the above directions.
3. Unplug unit. Take equal parts of white vinegar and water and add to the system by removing
the fill cap and pouring thru the fill area (with blue ring) into the reservoir, replace fill cap.
let sit for 20 minutes.
4. To drain cleaning solution, remove the dual drain plug located on the bottom of the unit and drain
out all solution. Some water will remain in the internal portions of the system.
5. Repeat with clean water and drain.
6. Now you are ready to reuse the Oster® water filtration system.
NOTE: Do not use dispenser with cleaning solution in the system. You do not want to push
the vinegar solution through the filter. If you accidentally dispense the vinegar solution, you
will need to discard that filter and replace with a new one and once again prime the system.
Using water only in the system
Only use water in the Oster® water filtration system. Do not pour any other liquid into the system
except for potable water or the water/vinegar cleaning solution. Do not add drink mixes, fruit or
other food into system.

INSTRUCCIONES DE CONEXIÓN A TIERRA: Este aparato debe estar conectado a tierra. En caso
de falla o avería, la conexión a tierra reducirá el riesgo de descarga eléctrica al proveer un camino
de menor resistencia para la corriente eléctrica. Para su protección, esta unidad está equipada
con un cordón de 3 conductores que tienen un enchufe de 3 cabezales de tipo tierra y que debe
usarse en combinación con un tomacorriente adecuadamente conectado que haya sido instalado y

Recordatorio – el filtro está dentro de un sobre metalizado metido en la parte superior del
embalaje de espuma. No lo deseche. Mantenga los insertos del Pur Mineralclear para su

INSTALACIÓN...
• Desempaque la unidad e instale el filtro PUR
mineralclear en la cámara del filtro ubicada debajo
de la tapa del filtro PUR. Ajuste la tapa del filtro.
• Coloque la cubierta superior.
• Enchufe y encienda la unidad, el interruptor está
ubicado en la parte de atrás.
2. Antes de usar por primera vez, quítele el polvillo del embalaje a la unidad y limpie la unidad por
dentro, fuera y todas las áreas con una tela húmeda.
3. Ubique la unidad en una superficie plana y estable en interiores, cerca de una tomacorriente
eléctrico, el cordón puede envolverse o desenvolverse de la parte inferior para obtener la longitud
correcta para alcanzar el tomacorriente. Evite la luz de sol directa o cualquier fuente de calor y
mantenga fuera del alcance de niños pequeños.

Con el filtro PUR en su lugar, inicialice (cebe) el
sistema haciendo correr un tanque lleno de agua por
el dispensador hasta que quede vacío y luego llene
con agua limpia hasta la línea máxima de llenado.
NOTA: cuando inicialice el sistema antes del primer uso o cuando cambie de
filtro puede que vea residuo, y/o agua turbia al dispensar.
Una vez que haya aclarado el sistema con un depósito lleno de agua y se haya
desecho del agua, vuelva a llenar con agua fresca y el agua se dispensará
clara y limpia.
4. Deje por lo menos 3 pulgadas de espacio alrededor de los lados y la parte trasera de la unidad
para mantener una adecuada circulación de aire. Todas las ventanas de ventilación en la parte
trasera de la unidad deben estar libres y no quedar bloqueadas. Estas ventanas proveen aire
desde dentro y hacia afuera de la unidad para una adecuada circulación de aire.

1. Usted deber pasar agua a través del sistema cuando instale un filtro nuevo o cuando lo use por
primera vez. Esto inicializara/cebará el filtro y también enjuagará su sistema completamente.
Es normal ver partículas en el agua cuando está inicializando/cebando.
1. Retire la tapa de llenado y la cubierta de la unidad ,si es que estaban puestos, luego desentornille
la tapa del Filtro PUR en dirección contraria a las manecillas del reloj a 360° y retírela.
2. Saque el filtro del sobre metálico.
3. Tome el filtro PUR mineralclear y deposítelo en la cámara del filtro de modo que la parte plana
del filtro con la lengüeta se vea y quede hacia arriba. Coloque la tapa del filtro PUR entornillando
la tapa en dirección de las manecillas del reloj 360° para ajustar, de modo que la punta de la
tapa en forma de gota de agua esté apuntando hacia la marca.
NOTA: It is normacuando inicialice el sistema antes del primer uso o cuando cambie de
filtro puede que vea residuo, y/o agua turbia al dispensar.
Una vez que haya aclarado el sistema con un depósito lleno de agua y se haya desecho del
agua, vuelva a llenar con agua fresca y el agua se dispensará clara y limpia.
2. Si es necesario, enchufe el sistema de Filtración de Agua y encienda – el interruptor está ubicado
en la parte trasera de la unidad, deslice a encendido (On).
3. Con el nuevo filtro PUR mineralclear colocado en su lugar (Vea las secciones anteriores para
instalar el filtro) retire la tapa de llenado y vierta agua a través de la zona de llenado (con el aro
azul) hasta la línea máxima y vuelva a colocar la tapa. (También vea la pagina 9, llenando el
aparato.) la ventana azul del agua también indica que la unidad está llena, con la bola blanca en
la parte de arriba. los sonidos burbujeantes son normales a medida que el aire escapa al verter
el agua.
4. Con el filtro adecuadamente instalado, las luces de vida del filtro se tornarán blancas indicando
que el filtro tiene 100% de vida. las luces blancas luego desaparecerán a medida que el filtro
se va usando. Cuando la duración de vida del filtro se ha usado por completo, las luces rojas
se iluminarán.
5. Coloque la tapa superior y la tapa de llenado. Asegúrese
de que la tapa superior esté en su lugar sobre el aparato,
con la boquilla del dispensador apuntando hacia la
esquina derecha frontal y con la zona de llenado
(con el aro azul) visible.
6. Ahora la unidad está lista para ser llenada con agua

Use solamente agua en el Sistema de Filtración de Agua
Oster. No vierta ningún otro líquido en el sistema que no
sea agua potable.
NOTA: Nunca use agua caliente puesto que dañará el filtro y reducirá la vida del filtro.
Siempre llene con agua fría.
4. Presione la palanca dispensadora ovalada hasta que aparezca un chorro consistente de agua y
fluya de manera consistente hacia el vaso. Continúe dispensando hasta que toda el agua haya
sido dispensada. El sistema está vacío cuando la bola blanca en la venta azul del agua está en
la parte de abajo de la ventana.
5. El Sistema de filtración de agua Oster con filtro PUR mineralclear está listo. llene hasta la línea
máxima de llenado y vuelva colocar la tapa. la bola blanca estará ahora en la parte de arriba de
la ventana azul del agua ubicada en el frente, mostrando que el aparato está lleno.
NOTA: el aparato no operará sin un filtro instalado en el sistema. Si no hay un filtro
colocado en su lugar las luces de vida de filtro parpadearán
6. Repita los pasos aquí arriba cada vez que un filtro nuevo sea colocado. las luces indicadoras
de vida del filtro se tornarán rojas cuando se requiera un filtro nuevo.

la unidad está dispensando el agua.
4. Usted verá desde el frente de la unidad, que la ventana azul de agua indicará que la unidad está llena

usa y terminará en la parte inferior de la ventana de agua cuando el sistema necesite ser rellenado.

SELECCiOnAnDO AGuA HELADA
1. Gire la perilla grande de helado ubicada en el costado del sistema de filtración de agua Oster a
Encendido (ON) para que el sistema empiece el proceso de congelado.
o la tienda en donde compró su sistema de filtración de agua Oster. Es importante que cambie de
filtro cuando se requiere puesto que siempre tendrá agua limpia para satisfacer su necesidad.
2. Cuando cambie a agua helada, déle al sistema unas 5 horas aproximadamente para que enfríe
el agua desde que añada agua fresca.
Para mejor rendimiento, use el repuesto de filtro de llave PUR Mineralclear RF-9999 como
se muestra debajo.

CuiDADO Y LimPiEZA
Retire el enchufe del tomacorriente antes de drenar el sistema, cambiar de filtro o limpiar. No
sumerja el aparato o el cordón en ningún líquido.
1. Cuando las luces indicadoras de vida del filtro hayan cambiado de blanco a rojo, es tiempo de
reemplazar su filtro de agua PUR mineralclear con uno nuevo.
Sugerencia: Es mas fácil cambiar el filtro cuando no hay agua en el sistema. Desenchufe la
unidad. Coloque sobre el lavadero. Retire el tapón de drenaje para drenar el agua del sistema y
luego vuelva a colocar el tapón de drenaje.
2. Retire la tapa de llenado y luego levante la cubierta superior.
3. Ubique la tapa del filtro PUR, gire la tapa del filtro en contra de las manecillas del reloj para
aflojar y retire la tapa. Guarde la tapa para reemplazar con un filtro nuevo.
Drenando el sistema
1. Para vaciar el sistema, dispense toda el agua disponible en el sistema.
2. Algo de agua se quedará en las partes internas del sistema. Apague y desenchufe el aparato,
luego retire el tapón de drenaje de la parte inferior de la unidad para drenar el agua restante.
3. Una vez vacío, el depósito puede limpiarse con una tela húmeda.
4. El sistema debe estar completamente drenado y el filtro retirado antes de almacenarlo. Cuando
saque la unidad de su almacenaje se necesitará un filtro nuevo para poder usar nuevamente el
sistema de filtración de agua Oster.
NOTA: No use químicos domésticos o limpiadores sobre o cerca de la unidad.
4. levante el filtro usando la pequeña lengüeta azul que sobresale de la parte superior del filtro y
deseche el filtro usado.
Limpieza regular del Sistema. Debe hacerse sólo cuando cambie el filtro.
1. Apague la unidad y desenchúfela del tomacorriente.
2. limpie todo el exterior con una tela húmeda.
NOTA: Cuando saque el filtro, aproveche para limpiar la cámara del filtro y el exterior de la
unidad limpiando con un papel toalla húmedo.
3. Retire la tapa de llenado, cubierta superior, tapa del Filtro PUR y filtro.
4. la cámara del filtro puede limpiarse con una tela húmeda. luego vuelva a colocar el filtro y su
tapa. No lave el filtro.
5. No debe sumergir la base. Simplemente límpiela pasándole una tela húmeda.
6. Seque minuciosamente una vez limpia.
5. Saque el nuevo filtro PUR mineralclear del sobre metálico.
6. Tome el filtro PUR mineralclear y deposítelo en la cámara del filtro de modo que la parte
plana del filtro con la lengüeta se vea y quede hacia arriba. Coloque la tapa del filtro PUR
entornillando la tapa en dirección de las manecillas del reloj 360° para ajustar, de modo que la
punta de la tapa en forma de gota de agua este apuntando hacia la marca. Coloque la cubierta
superior y la tapa de llenado.
Limpieza semi anual del sistema
1. Cada 6 meses el sistema debe limpiarse para remover cualquier depósito mineral
2. Drene el sistema siguiendo las instrucciones de arriba
7. Vea la página 8 para Inicializar /Cebar el sistema.
3. Desenchufe la unidad. Tome partes iguales de vinagre blanco y agua y añada al sistema
removiendo la tapa de llenado y vertiendo a través del área de llenado (con el aro azul) dentro
del depósito. Coloque de nuevo la tapa de llenado. Deje reposar por 20 minutos.
4. Para drenar la solución limpiadora, retire el tapón doble ubicado en la parte inferior de la unidad
y drene la solución. Algo de agua se quedará en las partes internas del sistema.
5. Repita con agua limpia y drene.
6. Ahora está listo para volver a usar el sistema de filtración de agua Oster.
NOTA: No use el dispensador con la solución limpiadora dentro del sistema. No debe hacer
fluir la solución limpiadora a través del filtro. Si accidentalmente dispensa la solución
de vinagre, deberá desechar el filtro y reemplazarlo por uno nuevo e inicializar/cebar
nuevamente el sistema.
Usando agua solamente en el sistema
Use agua solamente en el sistema de filtración de agua Oster. No vierta ningún otro líquido en el
sistema que no sea agua potable o la solución limpiadora de agua/vinagre. No añada mezclas de
bebidas, fruta ni ninguna otra comida en el sistema.
