4. Secure the Base halves with (2) M4 X 13mm Screws.Thread the
ASSEMBLY (Figures 1 through 6)
For ease of assembly, lay the Heater down so that the front grill and
controlpanelarefacingup. CarefullyremovetheHeaterfromthebagand
the carton.
FUNCIONAMIENTO

2. Conecte el cable eléctrico a un tomacorriente eléctrico de 120
V~. Asegúrese que el enchufe encaje firmemente en el
tomacorriente.
3. Al conectar el Calefactor por primera vez, se oirá un “bip” y la luz
de encendido se encenderá indicando que hay electricidad en la
unidad. La luz de encendido permanecerá encendida hasta que

6. La pantalla reflejará la “Temperatura Ambiente” junto con la

INSTRUCCIONES DEL TERMOSTATO

the Power Supply Cord through the center of the Column Sup-
port Assembly.
2. Attach the Column Support Assembly to the Motor Base with
(4) M5 X 13mm Screws. Make certain to align the Key on the
Motor Base with the Locating Notch on the Column Support
Assembly. (Figure 2)

5. Align the Base Assembly with the Column Support Assem-
bly. Make certain to align the Locating Notch on the Column
Support Assembly with the Key on the Base Assembly (Fig-
ure 5). Attach the Base Assembly to the Column Support As-
sembly with (4) M5 X 13mm Screws. Gently pull any excess
slack of the Power Supply Cord and place it in the Cord Chan-
nel of the Base Assembly. (Figure 6)

The Heater may be operated by the manual controls located on
the Heater (as shown in Figure 1) or by your remote control
(shown in Figure 2).
1. Place the Heater on a firm, level surface, after assembling per
this manual.
The oscillation function will work in any mode. Pressing the Oscilla-
tion Button ( ) will allow the Heater to oscillate back and forth. To
stop the oscillation, press the Oscillation Button ( ) once more.

WARNING: Plastic or rubber tabs, like the feet on this unit, may
stick to furniture surfaces and/or hardwood floors.The unit may leave
a residue that could darken, stain or leave permanent blemishes on
the finish of certain furniture surfaces, including wood surfaces, and/
or hardwood floors.
2. Plug the cord set into a 120 V~ electrical outlet. Be sure plug fits
tightly in outlet.
3. When the Heater is initially plugged in, there will be a ‘beep’ and
the power light will come on indicating that there is power to the
unit. The power light will remain lit until the Heater is unplugged
from the electrical outlet.
The timer function will work in any mode.The timer function allows
you to set the length of operation from 1 hour to 8 hours. Press-
ing the Timer Button ( ) will increase the length of operation by
1 hour each time the button is pressed. Pressing the Timer But-
ton ( ) once more after the display reflects 8 hours will reset the
Heater to continuously running. Once the timer has been set, the
timer will count down the hours in 1 hour increments, showing on
the display the remaining operating time. The Heater will turn itself
off when the set time has lapsed.The unit can be turned back on by
pressing the Power Button ( ).

THERMOSTAT INSTRUCTIONS
1. Pressing the ( ) or ( ) Button will prompt the Heater into High
heat and will allow the thermostat to be set at a desired tempera-
ture.The display will shows AUTO and the word “SET”.The tem-
perature will be flashing.
2. To adjust SET temperature, press the ( ) to increase the desired
temperature and the ( ) to decrease the desired temperature.

INFORMACIÓN GENERAL DE SEGURIDAD

SAFETY FEATURE
1. A thermal overload protector is built in to prevent overheating.
2. When an overheat temperature is reached, the Heater will automatically shut off. It can only resume operation when the unit is reset. (See
reset instructions below).
To Reset Heater:
1. Unplug the Heater and wait 10 minutes for the unit to cool down.
2. After the 10 minutes, plug the Heater in again and follow the Operation Instructions described in this instruction manual.

TROUBLE SHOOTING TIPS
If your heater shuts off unexpectedly or fails to operate, the above-mentioned safety feature may have been activated to prevent
overheating.
1. Be sure the power cord is plugged into a working electrical outlet.
2. Check your Thermostat setting. The Heater may be off because it has reached the desired temperature setting.
If you have a problem that can not be resolved by the steps listed above, contact Technical Assistance at 1-800-233-0268, Monday through
Friday, between the hours of 8am and 5pm EST.
MAINTENANCE
6. NO enchufe el Calefactor en ningún otro dispositivo que tenga cables conectados, tales como distribuidores de electricidad,

CLEANING: IMPORTANT! Clean the Heater grill with the vacuum brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner. This will remove lint and
dirt from the inside of the Heater. Clean the body of the Heater with a soft cloth.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE APART THE HEATER.

tales como muebles, almohadas, ropa de cama, papeles, ropa y cortinas a una distancia de por lo menos 3 pies (0.9 m) del
frente del Calefactor y manténgalas a una distancia de por lo menos 1 pie (0.3 m) de los laterales y de la parte posterior.
15. Un Calefactor tiene partes calientes y con arcos o chispas en su interior. No use el Calefactor en áreas donde se utilice o
almacene gasolina, pintura o líquidos inflamables. NO debe ser usado en lugares potencialmente peligrosos tales como

This product is warranted for three years from the date of purchase against defects in workmanship and/or materials. At our
option, parts that prove to be defective will either be repaired or replaced or the whole product will be replaced.
Should electrical or mechanical repair become necessary during the warranty period, send your complete product, postage or
freight pre-paid to the nearest service center. Call the number below for the service station nearest you.
Should a part need replacement, you must give us the type and style of your appliance. You will find this at the bottom of the
appliance. In either case, a copy of your proof-of-purchase is requested.
This warranty does not apply if the damage occurs because of accident, improper handling or operation, shipping damage,
abuse, misuse, unauthorized repairs made or attempted, of the use of the product for commercial service.
