KEY FUNCTIONS  
1. ON/OFF  
1) Turn on the scale by pressing this key.  
2) Turn off the scale by pressing this key.  
2. UNIT  
1) Press this key to select the unit of measure you require: Kg or pounds.  
2) After turning the scale on, if the display shows 0.00, the weight is expressed in kg  
and g. If the display shows 0:0, the weight is expressed in pounds and ounces.  
3. HOLD (BLOCK WEIGHT FUNCTION)  
1) Due to the baby moving, the weight shown on the display changes all the time.  
When the baby is laid on the plate, press the “HOLD” key.  
2) The display shows “hold” and the scale automatically calculate the average of the  
weights it has taken.  
3) The display then shows the baby’s weight and at the top the symbol “ ” starts  
flashing.  
4. TARE  
If the baby is laid on a towel or cover, use the TARE function:  
1) Turn the scale on with the ON/OFF key.  
2) The display shows “8888”.  
3) Wait until the display shows “0.00” then place the towel or cover on the plate  
4) Press the TARE key and wait until the display shows “0.00”; the scale is now ready  
for use.

USING THE SCALE WITH THE PLATE  
1. Remove the 4 green rubber plugs.  
2. Fix the plate to the scale using the supplied locking nut. (See the illustration)  
3. Press the ON/OFF key.  
4. The display shows “8888”.  
5. Wait until the display shows “0.00”. The scale is now ready for use.  
6. Lay the baby on the plate and wait until the display shows its weight.  
7. Press the ON/OFF key to turn the scale off, otherwise the scale turn off automatically  
after 2 minutes without being used.  
USING THE SCALE WITHOUT THE PLATE  
1. When the baby can stand up on his own and does not weigh more than 20kg.  
2. Remove the plate and keep the locking nut for future use.  
3. Replace the 4 green rubber plugs.  
4. Turn the scale on and wait until the display shows “0.00”.  
5. Get the baby to stand on the scale to start weighting.  
ERROR MESSAGES  
1. “LO” indicates that the batteries are flat. Replace them.  
2. “ERR” shows the weight is too much.  
3. The scale is ready for use when the display shows “0.00”. If the instructions have not  
been followed correctly, the display shows “ERR”.

Being a precision instrument, the scale must be treated with due care.  
We guarantee accuracy and repeatability with a tolerance within 3%.

WARRANTY  
This appliance is warranted for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase as shown by  
the dealer’s stamp and signature and by the purchaser’s receipt for tax purposes  
which must be kept attached to this warranty.  
The warranty only covers defects in materials and workmanship and is not applicable if  
damage results from an accident, incorrect use, negligence or improper use of the product.  
Only use the accessories supplied: using any other accessories may cause the warranty to  
be void.  
Do not open the appliance for any reason: if it is opened or tampered with, the  
warranty shall be void for good.  
Use of the appliance in public shops is not permitted.  
The manufacturer disclaims any liability for injury to persons or pets or damage to property,  
whether direct or indirect, resulting from non-compliance with all provisions indicated in the  
relevant instruction booklet, especially concerning warnings regarding installation, use and  
maintenance of the appliance.
