SETTING THE CLOCK

Plug in your c offee ma ker. The time "12:00" will be displa yed on
the elec tronic digita l c loc k.

To set the c urrent time, press the PROG button onc e a nd
‘C LOC K’ will be displa yed. Then press the HOUR button to set the
hours, a nd the MIN button to c ha nge the minutes.
Every time you press one of those buttons, the hour or minutes will
inc rea se by 1 unit but if you hold them, the time will roll forwa rd
more quic kly.

USING THE COFFEE GRINDER
NOTE: Before each use of the coffee grinder, slide the device

4, 8 or 10 c ups. Do not overfill the c offee grinder.

to 20 sec onds instea d of 30 sec onds for 5 to 10 c ups (defa ult

MANUAL OPERATION

Slide the relea se / open button of the lid of the wa ter ta nk a nd lift
the lid open. Fill the wa ter ta nk with c old wa ter. The number of
c ups c a n be rea d on the gra dua ted wa ter ta nk. C lose the lid.
Pull the filter holder out using its ha ndle, fill the perma nent filter
with the desired qua ntity of ground c offee or use the grinder (see
“USING THE COFFEE GRINDER” sec tion). Then repla c e the filter
holder in its initia l position.

NOTE: If you do not wa nt to use the grinder a nd dec ide to fill the
filter with norma l ground c offee, press the G RIND OFF button, the

PROGRAMMING THE COFFEE MAKER
Your c offee ma ker ha s a 24 hours timing, but the progra mmed c loc k
rema ins in the memory a s long a s you do not modify it.

PRACTICAL HINTS
When you notic e tha t the c offee ma king proc ess is longer tha n it

for the situa tion to get worse. The dec a lc ifying frequenc y depends
on the a mount of lime in wa ter a nd therefore c a n be different from
a household to a nother. Therefore it is importa nt to pa y a ttention to
